I think anyone who is a movie fan cares about the Oscars. I watch it every year.

I watched some of it. It was pretty good. too long - but it had its moments. I went to sleep at 11:00 so i missed a lot of it.

I think my highlite was Ben Stiller's Joaqim Pheonix impression. Talk about coming out from nowhere. I'm not a fan of ben stiller at all, but that shit was funny.

Unfortunately i didn't watch any of the movies that were really showcased last night. I tried to watch slumdog a few months ago, but it was sold out that night.

I watched the whole thing and I have to say it was one of the most entertaining Oscars I've seen in years. Hugh Jackman did a fantastic job last night. Congrats to Slumdog Millionaire as they cleaned up last night.

I don't really care, nor do I ever watch them, but for some reason I flipped it over just in time to see Will Smith and Eddie Murphy bumble their way through their presentations. I felt embarassed for them.

Beyond the fact that Will Smith can't be serious for two seconds, they both stumbled and bumbled through their lines.

I'm with fancy on this one ... Will was pretty witty last night albeit he did screw up his lines a bit.

meh. i thought they both were fine. I assume you are referring to Eddie Murphy doing the lifetime achievement part? Because i don't remember any akwardness there.

and yeah - will was pretty witty in lieu of his line mistakes. He made a few good saves IMO.

Jennifer Aniston was akward i thought. Not smooth at all.

I think it might had a little something to do with seeing "Brangelina" sitting 5 feet in front of her and that being the first time Jen's seen Brad face to face in 4 years. I give her a pass for last night. She still looked great.

HAHAHA...yep...that was pretty funny.

In 10 years she will only be known as the "chick that Brad dumped". I bet Gwyneth Paltrow is relieved to shed that distinction.

In 10 years Jen will still be known as the chick from friends and that's it. She plays the same character in all of her movies, which are all romantic comedies. No GI Jane or anything unexpected for her, which keeps her from becoming a memorable actress or winning anything of merit (an Oscar).

These oscars needed some mickey rourke. Anyone see his acceptance speech at the spirit awards?
It's almost as if they just wanted to be boring this year and tried their hardest.
