Bet he could live on "girl cheese". He told me so.

When I was young my dad use to force me to eat everything. I'd be on the kitchen table for like an hour playing around with my food until I finished it.

Well, the double chin is a bit of a turn off, but how could I resist a girl with that kind of passion for a chocolate chip cookie?

Same here. I used to demand a jar of pickles - bite of pickle, bite of whatever vegetable they were trying to get me to eat. They finally just gave up. And that brings up some interesting questions. Are we all born liking all sorts of foods? I didn't like a lot of things from the get go. My family ate healthy, we always sat down for dinner (something I've continued with my crew), they tried to get me to eat vegetables, etc, but I just couldn't and usually wouldn't and, save for snow peas, corn, lettuce and beans, I've remained that way until this day. I don't like most fish, most cheeses. I can't stand the taste of beer. I wonder if it's my tongue. Maybe I have some freakazoid tongue.

Fuck, I know exactly what you mean. I was like threatened to eat all the food that was packed in my lunch. Even though they would never be able to find out, I was too scared and ate it all anyways.

Dude it ain't about being brown, I'm white as a ghost and I was allowed to leave the table but if I didn't finish dinner...that shit was being set aside for if I became hungry later.

Nothing else allowed until I put everything down.

On the plus side, I eat everything now (except olives, the food of satan)

My parents would just set aside our meals for a later date that day. If we didn`t want to eat our vegetables or stuffed peppers or fish or whatever, they would say fine, you`ll be hungry. I wasn`t allowed to leave the table. Eventually, after all of the crying, I would finally give in. I`m glad my parents were stern.

McDonald`s was always a treat and we`d have in once a year only. To date, I haven`t had McD`s in over a year (it`s gross food) because it doesn`t taste like anything. Nuggets, burgers, fries I could make better myself.

LX was right earlier, it`s very much a N.American thing right now and the relationship people have with fast food.

We were poor enough that I never had the luxury of turning down food. There just wasn't enough. Funny how that works. Nuggets were not an option, yet someone else has to have them always.
