Default Your Pick for This Season's MVP?

I know Wade's been amazing these past few weeks, but LeBron and Kobe have been arguably amazing this whole season.

I went with Kobe because I believe the Lakers will end up with the best record. And I secretly am hoping that he gets all the MVPs, including the All-Star Co-MVP he already has and the Finals MVP

Wade or Kobe

Lebron doesn't have the killer instinct, sorry, but I cannot believe how all of the analysts seem to be giving him the crown already.

Kobe is crazy ridiculous in clutch time, last 3 games he's hit daggers (except tonight AI hit an even better shot to beat the Lakers) that were not easy shots at all.

DWade is just as crazy when it comes to hitting big shots and showing up at big moments. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to give the MVP to someone who is actively looking to give up the ball during crunch time, as it seems Lebron does more often than not.

Wade gets my vote, doing a lot with a little gets my vote over doing a lot with a lot.

I hate to say it, but Lebron. He's turned into a hell of a defender and more than anything that's where he's made an impact for the Cavs.

I also think that Dwight should get some consideration as well.

Lebron. easily.
the guy is an all around nightmare for opposition. offensively and defensively.
if you were to round his numbers upthis year his stat line would look like this: 29/8/7.
add those numbers with .809 - his team's winning percentage (which currently is the best in the league), how can you disagree.
and whats even more unbelievable is that fact that this kid is getting better and improving as we speak.
this year alone he's upped his FT% by almost 10%, and his defense is the best i've ever seen it.
and for someone to say 'he doesnt have that killer instinct', thats an absolute joke. theres no one in the league that wants that ball during crunch time like lebron.
if he decides to drive, just get out of the way because theres no stopping him.

kobe and wade (especially) deserve some recognition, but hands down the Most Valuable Player this season is Lebron James.

LeBron continuously gets triple-doubles
Cleveland is the best team in the NBA

LeBron and Dwayne have almost the same stats but
Cleveland: 54-13
Miami: 36-30

Lebron. No matter how much I hate him his team has a really good record but in the end it will come down to him and Kobe, it'll all depend on the record of the team though

Easy pick: Lebron - he's dominating and the Cavs have the best record in the game.

Kobe's the most talented player in the world, Lebron is easily the most dominant, and Dwyane Wade is somewhere in between. No matter how you swing it, you're looking at the three best basketball players in the world right there.

The league's been coddling Lebron ever since he stepped foot on the court and I don't think there's anyway the league isn't giving him an MVP now that his team has the best record in the league. Either way though, Lebron is still my MVP - most dominating player in the game.

I had to go with Lebron, his team has the best record, and he makes everyone on his team a better player.
It's easy to say he does alot with alot, but before playing with Lebron most of the guys on his team were average to decent or else scrubbers.
I dare say that Lebron playing with the current Heat team would have elevated the game of a few of their scrubbers too, something that cant be said about Wade, who seems to be playing the Kobe role of a few years ago, making sure his stats are well padded.

Kobe is the best player but Lebron means the most to his team, especially this year. It kinda sucks cuz I would choose Kobe at the end of the game over Lebron EVERY TIME but Bron's size makes him a freak not only to his team but the league, as well. The cavs should fine him every outside shot he takes, especially three's. But without Lebron the cavs would be even less than the lakers without kobe or the heat without wade.

what about Bosh?
didnt he say he was going to be in the race for MVP honors this season?
LOL.

i think eoraptor77 made an excellent point.
watch a heat game and you will see Dwade doing absolutely everything himself - which is all well and good - but he does everything to the point where it gets annoying. very similar to kobe when he took it upon himself to stat stuff and be the next MJ a few years ago.... where its overly apparent that he doesnt really give a shit about anything else but himself as he is the one and only option unless theres no other course of action.
kinda like he doesnt trust his teamates whatsoever.

lebron, on the other hands takes over when he needs to (which is still about 75% of the time), but is more about winning and getting the better shot. he'll make that extra pass (not to be fancy - a la Wade), but to actually get the better percentage shot.
he has trust in his teammates, and that makes him so much more of an MVP IMO.

I'd go with WAde although Lebron will get. I love the way this guy plays. He is so relentless and will sacrifice his body in any which way to win a game. I know Bron will get it but man Wade is just so much fun to watch

Lebron James. Has better stats than wade... but doesnt play in the 4th cuz his team is up by 40.

We are all witnesses.

Lebron. Cavs are headed for 65-67 wins, even if their supporting cast is woefully underrated, I don't think anybody expected this much.

Lebron is at once the best scorer, point guard, and shutdown defender on his team. It's time.

Kobe is like Lebron but just a little less impressive in each category this year

Dwight isn't getting enough love from the media. Orlando is going over 60 wins, even in the wake of Meer's injury and Hedo being shitty this year. Centers have the most impact on the game so if anyone's arguable against Bron, it's Dwight.
