Default Which Young Team Has the Brightest Future?

OKC
Nets
Bucks
Grizzlies
Hawks
T-Wolves
Blazers
Warriors
Clippers
Kings

Which team has the brightest and best future? My vote...probably OKC. They've got a stud in KD and a VERY good and young supporting cast. Their one good center from being a contender in the West imo. Hawks are good now, but who knows how long they can keep up their play. If the Blazers could stay healthy they could be deadly. Grizzlies are picking up steam, but Rudy's probably gone after this season. T-Wolves, Warriors, Bucks, and Clippers are still a few years away from actually doing something in the league. And the Nets..well...they've got 2 good players in Harris and Lopez, but the way things are going now, who knows what kind of transactions are to come for the lowly Nets.

Added them to the poll.

They also are looking good. Tyreke is a budding star, and Casspi and Thompson are good players too. They play their asses off every game.

1.Hawks
2.OKC
3.Portland

The rest of those teams are disasters imo, yes even Memphis!!

As long as OKC keeps Green at the 4, this team will be pushed and shoved in the paint.

They needed Thabeet, but then memphis decided to take another big man even though they already have gasol and randolph.

The only team I see having a really bright future if they have some massive summer moves is the "Nyets".

Douglas-Roberts, Courtney Lee, Brook Lopez and Devin Harris is one hell of a lineup, plus a billionaire russian owner and John wall coming up.

Who knows, if the Nets could pull themselves together and sign an all-star caliber wingman and draft a good role player, they could be in the playoffs before you know it.

Mehhh, they're a ways off and no big FA's are gonna go there this summer imo.

I like the Clippers, too. Eric Gordon, Blake Griffin, and Al Thornton is a solid young cast to build upon. They've got Davis and Camby's veteran leadership, but they aren't in their longterm plans, and I could see 1 or both of them traded at the deadline. You could probably get a good haul for Davis+filler.

I wish Toronto was in this poll...

We need to stack up on drafts dammit!

Clippers are not going anywhere with Dunleavy in charge.

Man takes of Eric Gordon off so many damn times when he's heating up, Al Thornton never passes and Blake is.. well I can't say anything about Blake.

This team is cursed and should give us Eric Gordon because they are pathetic.

OKC right now..but if the Nets win the lottery and land John Wall, than get used to Lebron in a new New jersey jersey.

Wall
Lee
Bron
Lopez

Trade Harris for a another piece perhaps?

Same could be said for the Warriors, too.

Once Nellie is gone, they can start winning. I mean, look at the all the talent! Randolph, Wright, Morrow, Curry! I mean, it sickens me when I see players with such great potential waste away on the bench. Luckily we swiped Belli away from them before it was too late.

Oddly, Derozan, Jack,Amir, Belinelli, Bosh, Bargnani are all young players and all have talent. But patience is not a virtue in Toronto. Therefore, this young talent when they are struggling, all suck and nobody on earth would want any of them and all those teams are gonna be better then us, and oh yes the sky is falling. lol

Like i said ...Drama queens.

I mean, heaven forbid anyone here put us in the company of NJ or Golden State.

And imo, if we won last night (6 in a row) i can almost guarantee we would be on this list.

I would get Lopez and Harris plus their 2011, 2012 pick.

Bosh should be offered a price too high.

If we could get BOTH Lopez and Harris for Bosh, he should take it, no questions asked.

No offence, guys, but the Raps are left off this list for a reason. Its not the fact that we aren't consistent or that our coach is sub-par, its that our owners are cheapskates. These guys do everything to try to save money. The fact is, in order to put together a good team, you have to spend money. Look at the Lakers for example, and the Yankees. As long as Teachers is in charge, we aren't going anywhere.

Save money???

We're up against the tax threshold this year and most seasons for that matter.MLSE is certainly not cheap. Toronto's salaries this season= 68.2Mil, which is easily in the top 10.

Its definately OKC right now and in the future. They have a ton of young talent and trading chips, not to mention a potential top 5 player in Durant. Westbrook has grown a lot this season too, but hes still gotta become consistant like KD is to get to that next level.

Theyre a frontcourt away from really contending, as rebounding is their biggest problem, but they need post scoring too. I love their backcourt of Westbrook/Sefolosha especially on D and even the boards. They need to trade Green this offseason for a guy like Boozer, and then get a 7 foot center who can clog up the middle and theyre set. After that its just filling out the bench and off they go.

I love Sefolosha. BC really likes him and tried to buy a pick to draft him. I really wish he would get him here.
