On TSN2 right now is the Vlade Divac story from ESPN films. I have already seen it, and couldn't recommend it more..even to just catch glimpses of Drazen.

Yep. Watched it on ESPN when it came out. Love the 30/30 they play and that was a great one like you said. Hopefully people check it out. I think they will like it also.

I grew up watching Drazen, just a special talent.

To this day there are still memorials set up.

Europeans dissagree on a lot of things, but I would say that if you asked people that know at least a little about basketball 90% would say Petrovic was the best player to to come out of europe.

God..... that Yugo team with Kukoc, Divac, Radja, Petrovic..... so good. And they played such beautiful basketball.

Lost art in today's NBA.

Drazen reminds me of a european Kobe.... just focused on nothing but basketball. Like a machine with his focus.

Yep.

I didn't get a chance to go to the memorial at his grave in the summer but a quick story...

In the main square there's a Champion store (you know the sport apparel) and in the stair well on the right hand side I was walking up and there's a small little memorial set up with Drazen's picture up in his Nets uniform.

He was so important to the people and to the country. I grew up watching VHS tapes of the guy.

The best part of him, he just didn't care. He just played basketball and didn't care who you were.

I felt horrible for Vlade hearing about how his friendship with Drazen was destroyed by such a careless gesture.... damn politicians.

Saw it last night after the game. Really terrible what happened between them over the incident. Too bad he didn't take a cab or bus (or go on the plane)

Yea this documentary was really intense.

I think the saddest one is "The Two Escobars" about the Colombian soccer team. Their lives are ridiculous.

youtube is your friend

That is part 1 of 11. Rest is on youtube.

Gotta agree with what was said before. Escobar one was probably one of my favorite 30/30 so far. ESPN has done a great job with these videos.
