i'd be more comfortable going forward with klieza than kirilenko. his stats have always been attractive for fantasy leagues, but those brilliant stat lines often came at the expense of a lot of blown assignments. at 31, i doubt he still have the ability to make up for those plays on the defensive end anyways.

lol at the guy trying to justify why it'd be fair to swap Ed Davis for Derrick Williams, for the Wolves.

Kirilenko signing for 2 years, 20 million.

IMO he is worth the money, anyone who watched him play this season will agree with me that he was by far the best player in Europe. He was as good as in his old Utah's days and I think he has two or three years left in him, so 2 year deal are reasonable. At the moment he is even better than Batum.

Its possible that Minnesotta could trade Williams but I doubt it.
I personally think if they sign AK then he would come off the bench & Chase would start at the 2 guard position.

Sure they'll trade Williams. They tried packaging him for Batum.
For Ed Davis? Get your head out of your ass.

How is that insane? Him and Gerald Wallace are very comparable when healthy and Wallace is what, 1 year younger and got 4 years? 2 years 20 million is overpaying by 4 million, but at least its only 2 years in case of injury. NJ is stuck with Wallace once the inevitable injury happens.

Agreed, 2yrs is favorable. But he isn't worth 10Mil. But really, every team is overpaying these days.

Hang on. Hang on, hang on, hang on.

So you are up in arms about Landry Fields' contract, but you are content when AK47 gets 10 million dollars a year after not even being in the NBA last season? What does AK bring to the table that Landry doesn't other than being the more well-known name? If AK goes for that price in Toronto, do you still have the same reaction?

Just wondering, of course.

the thing that AK will always have are those freakishly long arms. He is still good, but not 10mil good

Have to agree. That's overpaying for someone's past deeds. I know he did well overseas but then that's overseas and not NBA level competition. I like the idea of AK but not at that price.

15mil for 2 years would have been better.

Because AK is a much better player than Fields. The only problem with AK is his health, which is why a 2 year deal is safe.

What does AK bring that Landry doesnt? Well, his impact on the defensive end is much greater. Hes one of the better weakside shotblockers in the league especially when playing the 4. He's still an effective, and better perimeter defender than Fields on the wing. He's a better slasher to the basket and takes higher percentage shots, and he's just overall more effective when playing bigger minutes.

What does Landry do better than AK is the better question. Possibly rebounding at this point but even that is up for debate because Andrei is a consistant 5 rpg player who averaged 8 a couple times in his prime.
