Wizards offered Arenas to Houston for TMac

Quote:
ESPN.com reported Saturday that the Washington Wizards had reached out to the Rockets in an exploratory manner about a possible Gilbert Arenas-for-McGrady swap, but Houston has no interest in such a deal. Arenas ranks as one of the league's most difficult players to move with four seasons left after this one on a mammoth $111 million contract and a history of knee problems to rival McGrady's.
Houston Rockets give Tracy McGrady indefinite leave, will look to trade disgruntled guard - ESPN

You're kidding right?

4yrs/111Mil is an absolutely insane contract for a guy with previous knee issues and who is unbelievably selfish. Fuck that!

Arenas' game is the antithesis of Rocket's ball...And basically every other team as well.

No one wants Arenas. He has lost his game and that contract was way too much. I am still surprised he got that contract considering he was injured a lot the year before that

wtf? who needs Arenas, a notorious injury prone chucker with a horrendous contract. He's the player that should scare every GM away

Here's a mini debate...

Who would u want more on your team to attempt that final buzzer beater in the 4th quarter ....

Hedo Turkoglu or Gilbert Arenas?

naw, SJ has always been an Arenas supporter... i remember telling him he was a fool to like that overpaid bum on many occasions.
i actually remember SJ saying how godly Gilbert was for taking a pay cut when he signed his contract... a pay cut from a 111 million dollar contract... what a saint
and he's still one of the most overpaid players in the league.
horrible.

they could play them together. Arenas is big for a pg, and he's really a scorer. I don't know how well he would defend some of the top scoring 2's in the league though, but same goes for vice versa.

Besides, who needs a guy on this team who spends time shaving the hair off his privates....and I'm not just making that up.
