i dont understand this from grant hills perspective.....why stay with the suns?....there are legit championship contenders that want him and he wants to stay in phoenix?

Theres probably more to it. Maybe his family really likes Pheonix and doesn't want to move away, leaving there friends and possibly family

the team doctors in PHX are the best
this was the first time in a while Hill played a majority, if not the whole season
Shaq was rejuvenated
Nash continues to stay healthy and play well
