Warriors Will Steph Curry be the best shooter in NBA history?

At the rate he's going he will be imo. This article shows how impressive what he has done in his career so far is.

When he is done will he surpass Ray Allen as the best shooter in NBA history?

What about the guys who played before 1979? Are they immediately disqualified from the discussion because they never had a chance to shoot a 3?

No, who were the best shooters prior to 1979 in your opinion and do you think any of them were better? It's just a question. Will he be viewed as the best pure shooter in nba history? If not, who do you think should be seen as such?

Yeah, Maravich was just crazy good. Bird was as well. Why does three-point makes equate to greatest shooter?

While Curry is very good, I don't think he will surpass Allen as the greatest shooter in NBA history, hell I don't think he will pass Miller either.

I'd go with 2 guys...

Paul Arizin...the unofficial "inventor" of the jumpshot

Years Played: 1951-1962
Games Played: 713
Minutes Per Game: 38.4
Two-Point Attempts Per Game: 18.7
Free-Throw Attempts Per Game: 8.7
Two-Point Percentage: .421
Free-Throw Percentage: .810
Points Per Game: 22.8

Larry Bird...because he always has been/always will be...THE Man

Years Played: 1980-1992
Games Played: 897
Minutes Per Game: 38.4
Two-Point Attempts Per Game: 17.4
Three-Point Attempts Per Game: 1.9
Free-Throw Attempts Per Game: 5.0
Two-Point Percentage: .509
Three-Point Percentage: .376
Free-Throw Percentage: .886
Points Per Game: 24.3

Can't really even talk about the Lakers, so we'll root for the Warriors? Great idea!

- I'll start.... Curry is the best shooter ever in the history of the NBA.

He might be the best three point shooter. Best shooter has nothing to do with three pointers. I would actually say career true shooting percentage, or maybe most seasons with over 50% from the field, 40% from three and 90% from the line (not in the same year but overall) would be better metrics.
