Every single play he is just staring at the ball and doesn't even realize his player is on the other side of the court. Never knew he was that bad, damn. I would be really pissed if I was Dwight or Asik

LOL Wow. Pays no attention, and when he does he goes for the swipe as they're flying by.

I've seen better defense at the REC center while playing HORSE.

He is garbage in my opinion. I don't give a shit how much a player can score. If you don't give a solid effort on both sides of the ball then in my book that player is useless. The refs are a big reason why his PPG is so high and without him getting every call this year he would have been lucky to average about 15-16 PPG.

It's amazing. At this time last year, I never thought I'd be saying that I'm thankful we have Derozan instead, and never traded Valanciunas for Harden.

Do you guys remember when that was coming up in thread discussions, after it was leaked that Colangelo might have been able to nab Harden? There were rumours about Colangelo talking with Presti about a package of Calderon and Val or something. A lot of people would have been okay with trading Val for him, and then moving Derozan for something else.

I'll take Derozan at under $10 Mill + Val

Some of the best moves are the ones you never make!!!

I agreee that it is kinda dumb to answer those questions, because they can be a distraction at this time of year....

... but...

I'd like to see that question asked in full context. When you go to the website, it says that its about the 5 yr/$80 million extension. But the way Storm asks the question, it could be interpreted as OKC's unwillingness to spend in general. I mean, it was initially reported that he was willing to take less to sign with OKC, but they wouldn't include the trade kicker, which signalled to Harden's agent that they were looking to underpay him AND then trade him because his contract would be so efficient.

So, what I'm saying is, he might simply mean that if OKC had given him the trade kicker and 4 year max, not even the $80 mill, he would have stayed in OKC. It's not necessarily about him leaving just to get $80 mill.

I remember saying early last year that he went from being one of the league's underrated stars to quickly becoming one of the more overrated ones.

Yeah, I stand by my comment.

I don't even think it is awareness

It really looks like he isn't playing defense on purpose IMO

He knows where his man is, but he just doesn't stay with him.

Maybe his agent told him not to play defense?

It's quite lazy defense, he doesn't move his feet and goes for the swipe instead much too often when his man gets by him...
