i think Carter did, but if neither tmac or hill did not get injured i would chosen either one. I think it's safe to assume that stackhouse did not

I also think VC had the better career. He was the most consistent. One of the best dunkers to play the game

VC- Bad reputation as a whiner, and a guy that didn't work hard enough

T-Mac- Alot of injuries the last few years, never got out of 1st round

Grant Hill- Injured the first half of career

Stackhouse- very good player, but least talented of the bunch

Tough call, depends on wether you go by sheer talent/numbers or success & reputation?

I guess I was the first one who voted
Grant Hill
just because I remember the Sprite commercials
I voted without thinking

I don't think any had playoff success and they all had 5 glory years
if you look at it right now Stack and TMac don't play, so its between VC and Hill
Carter is putting up bigger numbers than Hill right now and he did lead a team close to the East finals

VC for sure. Out of those only him and T-Mac were known for being franchise guys for the longest period of time. VC has had a better career then T-Mac though so VC for sure. I still don't like him

Grant Hill by a landslide. You youngsters wernt around for the first 6 years in Detroit. He was a joy to watch.

And he was always classy and had a longer span of excellence. Cant say that for VC or T-WhaWha.

Stack has been a journeyman from day one.

I would have to say Vince. He has played well his entire career, producing consistantly. Even when you look at injuries, with an injury free career, I would think that Vince would be the best player. It would be close though, McGrady was an awesome talent.

Tracy McGrady

- 22.1ppg/6.4rpg/4.7apg (50FG%-- 36 3PT%)

-Playoffs- 28.5ppg/6.9rpg/6.2apg (43 FG%-- 30 3PT%)

-NBA Most Improved Player
(2001)
-7 NBA All-Star
-(2001-2007)
2 NBA Scoring Champion
(02-03 & 03-04)
-2 All-NBA First Team
(2002-2003)
-3 All-NBA Second Team
(2001, 2004, 2007)
-2x All-NBA Third Team
(2005, 2008)

Vince Carter

- 23.5ppg/5.5rpg/4.3apg (44 FG%-- 37 3PT%)

-Playoffs- 25.9ppg/6.9rpg/5.2apg(41.8 FG%--33 3PT%)

-8-time All-Star
-2-time All-NBA Selection
-1999 NBA Rookie of the Year

Based on sheer accomplishments i'd have to say McGrady hands down, based on heart.....T-Mac. VC is more talented overall but has actually underachieved with the amount of talent he has.

Why did you leave out playoff rounds won? Because it doesn't suit your argument?

Are you suggesting that playoff rounds won are immaterial?

That's classic. Think I'll put it in my sig.

Anyways, the numbers aren't even right. T-Mac shoots 43.6% regular season, not 50%.

Went for T-mac by a hair over Vince But as a person Hill its too bad he has had a Bill Walton type of a career. Great fit for Phoenix wish we had him.

TMacs prime was better than Vinces prime by more than a little bit IMO. Dude was completely unstoppable and the leagues best scorer for 5 years.

VCs been better longer though even though both have tailed off a lot despite still having tons of game left.

I'll say Tmac because he was more dominant in his prime years.
