Sloan, because his team is always competitive despite some shitty rosters in the past years...

Because this isn't a worst coach list. If you wanna do a thread for that, it's all yours.

I don't like when the results on the polls are hidden. I like seeing who voted for who.

Doc Rivers.

Well when you have MJ-Pippen & Kobe-Shaq + Kobe-Gasol that helps a lot. Not a shot at Phil. He is a great coach. I just think Pop gets a lot out of his players and does a great job. Phil has benefited by coaching some of the best players all time. I have Pop, Phil, Sloan.

My personal favorite coaches are SVG and Carlisle, not sure if they are the top though. Top is probably Sloan, Jackson or Pop. Can't really differentiate, but they have always managed to put winning teams on the court. I would love to see coach K come up to the NBA though.

Pop has had the best PF of all time on his roster for the past 12 or 13 years. AND Manu and Parker for the last 6 or 7. He's been working with some good talent.

My vote goes to Carlisle. He made the blueprint for that Pistons team until Larry Brown took over and took them to the title.

Now he has the Mavs playing better than they ever have.

Pop...
Spurs have been consistently one of the best teams in the league for over a decade.
that team just plays the right kind of basketball. he's molded them exactly how he wants them.
everyone respects him, and most fear him.
how many other coaches in this league have that same respect/fear characteristic? from that list, i'd say only pop, phil, sloan.
