![]() all eyes point to SJax...
Boozer comes a close second though. Link - Stephen Jackson's slight edge over Boozer explained - TrueHoop By Henry Abbott - ESPN looks as if Cleveland and Denver are the top 2 teams in the mix to try and grab the veteran wing-man. I think Cleveland would be a great fit for him... and while i wasnt a fan of denver's interest, im slowly coming around... i mean, they are making JR Smith look good, SJax is 10 times better than that chucker. I think SJax in Denver would easily make them top 3 in the West. |

![]() Being a Denver fan I would love to see Jackson there. They would be right behind lakers imo. Billups would keep Jax in check.

![]() Houston needs the cap space
if Yao's career is in jeopardy they're going to need more pieces going forward and I don't see any team giving Houston decent players for the Mac |

![]() Why doesn't it make much sense? The Knicks want to be well, well below the cap for the summer. If they really cared about locking Lee up long term, they would have done so this past summer. I'm sure Houston would jump at the chance of getting Lee for T-Mac and signing him long term.

unless Houston wants any of those guys, and I doubt NYK is willing to trade Gallinari, Hill, Chandler or Douglas, it makes no sense to swap players that are expiring the same year with no intent to keep them past 2010 or are you implying that NYK will give Lee to Houston as a gift? |

Rip is the guy, said it before. Detroit just paid alot of money for a younger tougher sg. that and Detroit is weak ot some other spots. And San Antonio should be calling them. |

![]() I want to see Jackson in Denver as well. It would make up for JR Smith's poor defense and pairing him up with Billups would make a nice veteran combo in the back court.

However, that's not the only confusion in the debate you guys are having. Lee is unrestricted in 2010. New York had the chance to sign him long term when he was restricted, but since they chose to only give him a one year deal, he becomes unrestricted this summer 2010. Why is this relevant? 1) Because it means trading Lee is not a gift, since New York has no rights to match offers. Lee can go wherever the fuck he wants in 2010. 2) This is also a reason why Houston would NOT do the deal. Since Lee is unrestricted next year, there's no reason to trade for him when they don't have a guarantee that he'll sign with them. Houston has just as good a chance of getting Lee through approaching him next summer with a free agent contract, if they wanted him. It would be more wise to trade McGrady for picks or a nice piece that is already locked up on a contract. No point taking salary from the Knicks in a package that includes a guy who is talented but might not sign with you. That's just crazy. In a nutshell, this trade won't happen because it is bad for Houston, not necessarily because it is bad for New York. Trading Lee could make sense for New York, but only if they can package him with Curry or Jeffries. |

![]() It's going to be SJax by like the end of this weekend. Lebron and Shaq just said they want it to happen.
After that I definitely agree Rip is going to be traded by the deadline. And Kaman will go as soon as possible |
