"Who would you rather?" Game!

Hey everyone I've really wanted to show everyone this idea of a game I've been thinking about for a while. We had something like this a while back. Just adding a few quirks to it.

Game goes like this:

Ask which two options of players you would rather have.

You can add details such as length of time or made-up contracts.

For example:

Length of time:
1."Jonas or Deandre Jordan, for this year ONLY"
2."LeBron for this one year or DeMar for the next 3 years ONLY"

Contract indifference:
1."Carlos Boozer or Patrick Patterson if they both had the same contract"
2. "Landry Fields or Andrea Bargnani if they both had the same contract"

Up to you if you want to do it like that.

You just ask which player and then the next poster answers(gives reasoning if want to), then that poster may ask another if they choose to.

I'll go first:

Steph Curry for two years or Kyle Lowry for four years

steph for 2. come on now...

I'll take Lowry for 4 and HOPE that he continues playing at the same level.

How about this, little indifferent. Kobe for 2 years with contract or Rudy gay for 2 years 15 Mil

:lol::lol: Kobe. I'd even take him in his current injured state. Reasoning is just 2 words: Jersey Sales.

Anthony Bennet or 2 picks at 45?

obviously the two picks... the cap space would be more than enough!

Yeah won't exactly get a whole lotta jersey sales with Rudy Gay. :cookie:

The one in my first post:

You need to watch more Clippers games. Jordan plays unbelievable at times. You got to pick D'andre

Yeah but can you dump the ball into him in the post? Does he have posts moves? He's a disgrace with FT's aswell. Can't keep him on the court in crunch time.

That's why the Clippers are better, when they're up by 20. FT's don't mean so much when you're up by 20.

And those 13 games they lost? What if the opponents play hack-a-Jordan in the playoffs?

You can dump the ball in the post to him just as much as Jonas. People need to stop looking at Jonas as a great post player. The guy hardly has any post moves what so ever. He like DJ need to develop. Both have potential, but in no way is one miles ahead of the other. Sure DJ can't hit free throws, but who would you rather having battling for boards? DJ's body size is much bigger than Jonas and he is definitely more athletic. Both have their strengths and both have their weaknesses, it's just what people prefer to have from a player that plays the C position.

DonMughal 01-16-2014 05:23 PM

Kevin Love or Lamarcus Aldridge

kevin love continues to get disrespected. lol

DonMughal 01-16-2014 08:49 PM

I don't know why you guys would pick Aldridge. Sure he's pretty damn good and has an excellent post game, but Love is even awsomer IMO. Love is a better rebounder, is a better passer, has a great three point shot and is younger. Just because LA is winning doesn't mean Love wouldn't be on that team. Love could even fit in better and get them even more wins. Defence isn't great from what I hear, but the best PF in the game IMO
