Simple question, who you would rather have in your team, Chris Bosh or Carlos Boozer?

I'm not gonna be biased here and say bosh, it's a tough choice but I'll tell you this.... Boozer is a better rebounder and plays better d

Offensively they're pretty equal, both are 20ppg+ guys with identical TS% at their best

Bosh is a slightly better defender, Boozer is a far superior rebounder and slightly better passer.

Bosh works better as a #1 option as he can create shots off the dribble and get to the line, but neither are near good enough to be legit #1s unless you liked Shareef's Vancouver run so that's not a great thing. Boozer is a better #2 because he doesn't need the offense to run through him as much

In terms of game I take Boozer because I prefer a big with a back to the basket game, this allows him to benefit his teammates more than Bosh's slashing one and because the ball doesn't have to stop as much for him to score, it creates better flow. But on the other hand I feel Bosh is a superior leader and teammate, Boozer is a snake and everyone knows it. Plus Boozer's injury history is not good (but Bosh has his knees)

In any case though the massive perceived difference between these two in the eyes of the media is smoke and mirrors... for some reason Bosh is considered a guaranteed max contract in 2010 and Boozer is looking at a 10 mil deal this summer because of his injury...

Hell David West is making 9 mil a year over the next 3... Bosh is slightly better than West because his FT attempts increase his TS%, but it's not an astronomical difference. I'd MUCH rather have David West at 9 mil a year or Boozer at 10-12 than Bosh at 20. Though none of those 3 will fit with Bargnani so whatever

You give Bosh one year under Jerry Sloan, and he absolutely tears this league apart. It really isn't that close between them. Bosh is simply the superior talent, and when it comes to bball IQ, the only difference I see is that Boozer has had the opportunity to learn under a greater mentor. Bosh is a pretty quick dude upstairs as well, put him on a squad like Utah where he learns to shoot off of screens and pass off of screens and he is easily on everybody's top 5 PF in the league list, without a doubt.

Jerry Sloan, 'nuff said. The league needs more coaches like him, not the plethora of 'ego-massagers' that are present at the moment.

Consider this:
Boozer = winner.
Bosh = loser.
Coach K preferred Chris though.
