Default Who will lose first?

Who do you guys think will lose first? New Orleans or The Lakers?

I think New Orleans is having on hell of a run this season, and Emeka is FINALLY looking like that 2nd overall pick. If they can keep this play up I see New Orleans having a longer winning streak, I mean the Lakers almost lost to the Raps .

it depends on the schedule, probably NHO. Lakers are better overall but the hornets are playing the best "team basketball" i've seen in a while and their team defence is amazing

Phoenix started off looking great last year aswell... but then came back to where they should be realistically... Hornets should do the same as the season progresses...

The Lakers are looking like a team that could possibly eclipse the 72 win plateau.

I think New Orleans has a big chip on their shoulder. Completely tanking last season, now want to prove everyone wrong. Remember, before the season started a lot of people had New Orleans outside the playoffs, and Chris Paul trade rumors were floating around. I think the fundamentals of this team is amazing, I love watching the play. I also love watching the Lakers play, and seriously I would say Pau is the Lakers MVP right now. This guy is playing out of his mind, both these team are fun to to watch.

the lakers as a team are better in almost every statistical category than they were last year, and that's with underwhelming percentages from kobe and horrible shooting from ron ron. the lakers are looking scary good, and their best squad has really only had to play for three quarters a night.

not to mention their schedule for the first two months is hella easy - we could easily be looking at a historical start. looking at their schedule they have denver this thursday, chicago and utah on the 23rd and 25th, chicago again on december 10th, and then four days of rest before the big christmas day game against miami. on paper this team could realistically go unbeaten for the first two months of the season if they don't let up or get bored.

the Lakers always have an easy schedule for the first two months
same thing last year when they were home for 16 out of their first 20 games
