I wouldn't be too happy if Calderon left. I mean there should be such a thing as fan loyalty. This guy plays his heart out and he can be the sixth man of the year. Today he was very impressive, a big energy guy that had the most impact imo.

I'm saying we'll find out. He only has one year left on his contract, considering that one year is a player option i doubt he'll opt out. lol

Say that to the many here that wanted him gone a few weeks ago and were saying nobody would want him. The fact is though, if you have a chance to get better, as a GM you do it, especially when results are so needed. It's a business.

I agree with you that it is a business.... but this team runs soo much better with him ... besides why drastically change your ratation when the team is starting to click... I would hate to see us go through a transition period again, we already paid our dues at the beginning of the season.

I thought Orlando was a contender and I doubt they get a player of equal talent back

I think jose will go..he's already out of the starting rotation...so his role has been minimized to an energy backup pg ....if all else fails...banks is do able as a backup..but Im thinking we'd trade jose for another pg....with a smaller salary but similar output as jose...I think jose has proven he's not durable enough and not the pg they need as in a penetrating and shot creator for others...if he's traded it wouldnt make a significant change to the starters as he isnt one anymore if we can get a quality back up with a smaller salary that'd be great.

ps...i just have to say i wouldnt mind having butler in a raps uniform over turkoglu ...he's had a disappointing season thus far....I am content if we keep him ...but im also excited if we got a butler type player...tougher on d...post player and rebounder...would be great to have another reliable starter who rebounds on the team

Fine, but if we Keep Jose here and lose in 5 games vs one of the top 4 teams in the east in the first round, i reall don't wanna hear all the bitching that i'm guessing we'll have here.

Same goes, if Jose pulls something in March?
