That's cool and don't worry about Jeff, he can say whatever he wants, really doesn't affect me, I'll live lol.

On our boards, we have a fair amount of Lakers fans, a couple of Celtics and Magic fans, Cleveland fans and Utah fans. Once in a while we'll get a New York or Chicago fan, mostly in the summer when they felt like talking trash. Most of them are pretty cool, for the most part they are pretty intelligent and don't troll but there is a bad apple in every bunch I supposse.

I'm not going to lie there, we know we have a bad fan base in Miami. They only show up for the Playoffs or when we're winning, and even then it takes until the 2nd Quarter for the Arena to start to fill out for some games.

The whole excitement factor when the Playoffs come around makes the boards come more alive. It's not that our Forums were inactive before that, our forums were always active, even in 08 when I signed up. Then when LeBron and Bosh joined Wade in Miami, of course the Boards "population" skyrocketed, but that would happen for any team when they acquire that much talent in one off-season.

Being a Heat fan, as much as I hate to admit it, I think that Denver will be the team that ends that streak. I don't think that the Nuggets are a better team BUT, the Heat will be playing on a back-to-back, and have to deal with the time zone. I'm not sure if the altitude will be a factor in that game.

That's a strong possibility but the whole Melo situation could be a factor in that game. I guess it all depends if New jersey decides it's worth taking on Al Harrington's contract. If Billups is willing to stay with New jersey (doubtful), they would at least have a nice looking core for the remainder of this season with Anthony, Brook Lopez, Rip Hamilton, Al Harrington and Chauncey.

Back on topic anyway, I believe we can beat the '69 Lakers Road Winning Streak of 16 games, we only need 3 more games to tie. The game against LAC tomorrow could be a trap game, but as long as the team stays focused on the task at hand, they should be able to get the job done and make history again.

it was '69? I could have sworn I saw '72 on some ticker somewhere. Thanks for the correction.

It may have been '72, I'm not entirely sure. I could ask a Laker fan back on boards.

Agreed.
all fans of any team are welcome! Jeff, dont be a dick, unless the person is being a troll; then you can be a dick all you want.
And our Heat friend here was not being a troll - so play nice.

Back on topic, the Heat should of lost yesterday to Portland.
Lebron bailed them out after Aldridge pretty much owned Bosh in the last 3 minutes of regulation.
Bosh did hit an open jumper, but could not contain Aldridge on the defensive end, it was quite awesome to watch him get destroyed on 3 consecutive plays.
Lebron was an absolute animal though.

They've pulled out some tough wins on this trip, and Bosh hasn't played so well the last week or so. And you can see the difference in the defence going from absolutely stifling to pretty average. That will be the biggest thing to watch for if this streak continues. They'll need to get back to shutting teams down again.

Lol... he plays with Wade and Lebron.... how many shots were you expecting him to get?

His 24/13 was all the more impressive when you look at what Pau and Odom were held to.

Again? What were you expecting? 45 + 20? Pretty unlikely when he plays with those 2 guys. He played well and his counterparts on the Lakers did not.

Mission accomplished.

i know he played well, but the fact you are bringing up that game its as if he scored 81.

i laugh at CB for getting beat up by Aldridge on 3 possessions and you bring up a game where he scored 24 points?
really?
good job Chris, the next time you have a bad game, your supporters will bring up a game you scored 24. awesome!

I brought up a game in which he was a critical piece in handing the world champs an ass-beating.

You bring up one game over the last what? 20 games? when he struggled against a guy who's actually a pretty good offensive big man.

If it makes you feel good I'll chant it with you... Bosh SUCKS!! Bosh SUCKS!!

dude, i wasnt even arguing with you.
the topic was 'when is Miami going to lose', and i responded saying that they should have lost yesterday to Portland, but Lebron bailed them out after Aldridge took Bosh to school on 3 possessions in the final minutes of that game.
end of discussion.
then you pop up out of the bushes and bring up a game on Christmas day... for what reason? who knows.
