Default Where will Dwight land?

So we've heard many rumours....from Dwight going to Lakers/Nets or even headed to Golden State as a rental. Where do you think he ends up?

I forgot to add, in addition to Deron + Dwight taking pay cuts, the Mavs need to rid themselves of some contracts such as Odom (buyout), Marion, Haywood. They would have Terry + Kidd coming off the books. I think for it to be possible, Dallas would literally have like 1 other player outside the big 3 remaining after all the transactions. Would still be a heck of a trio.

Dwight Howard addressed his future with the media following Orlando's overtime win over the Heat.

A report from Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski indicated Howard's preference is to remain with the Magic through the end of the season and then sign with the Nets in July.

"I've been telling them for the past two or three weeks now that I want to stay and finish the season," said Howard.

"I told them that I want to finish this season out and give our team and fans hope for the future. I feel they have to roll the dice."

Howard said he expects to finish the season with Orlando.

"I think we can make a run."

This guy is the worst. I feel for Magic fans if this does turn out to be the case. "ONE LAST RUN?!?!?" If he actually gave a shit about the fans and the future of a franchise who did everything in their power to make his ass happy then he'd keep quiet and let the Magic actually get something for him in return so they have something.

I'd like to change my stance and say he gets traded to NJ in the next couple days instead of the off-season. After what Dwight said today post-game and how he greeted CEO Alex Martins, I am 100% sure he's getting traded. And we know NJ is the most likely destination...

Howard is a douche...and I thought LBJ was bad but this is such a problem in this league. Superstars are ruining teams for their own benefits.

If I'm NJ why would I do this trade at all - any trade? Won't happen cause Howard is already committed to coming to NJ in the off season - which will be best for both player and team. jersey may get a top 5 pick in this draft, retain ALL of its current assets, sign D12 after signing the draft pick and still make more splashes in the FA market.

If Howard waits, this is what NJ COULD look like for 2012-13:

D.Williams/Farmer
M.Brooks/Morrow
Sullinger or Barnes/Stevenson
B.Lopez/Humphries
D12/S.Willimas

That would be a team to be reckoned with.

I'm disgusted by this actually....this reeks of Joe Smith all over again - worse. If D12 lands in jersey in the off season then jersey should be punished heavily by the league - I mean long term; (I'll wager $1000 that secret meeting D12 and Mikhail Prokhorov got busted for last year was about this very scenario)

I don't know why everyone seems to think Dwill - D12 and a team with Lopez, Brooks and a lottery pick is supposed to be a force or anything.

I think they'd have a hard time coming out of the 2nd round to be honest.

Uh D12, Lopez, and Deron is pretty damn good imo. Add Sullinger and Marshon to round out the starting 5 and suddenly their bench is stupid deep so ya, it will be a force.

The only place Dwight deserves to land right now is unemployed. Crying for a trade and holding your franchise by the balls is disgraceful
