What happened to the Kings in '02 or what happened to the Spurs in game 6.

I'd have to obviously go with "not closing out a NBA title clinching game that you have a 5 point lead in with 30 seconds to go". Just too many different things that they could have and should have done and didn't do.

But very similar in how the Lakers had all the offensive rebounds before horry hit the shot, not to mention the huge lead earlier in the game.

I think Horrys shot was the best game winner I've ever seen, given the scenario of the Lakers going down 3-1 if they didn't win that game, and the Kings more than likely advancing, plus the way the play went down making it that much more epic. That play still gives me chills. You couldnt even hear Marv Albert after the shot went in. I'm always going to have Horrys shot as my #1 clutch play of all time, until Andrew Wiggins hits the game winning 3 in game 7 of the NBA finals for the Raptors to win the title in 2020.

From a Lakers forum:

"Makes me wonder if if there is something mystical or cosmic at play here. Makes me wonder if Pop is really not a good person, and this is just karma getting him. If you think about it, he's a real cranky person who condescends and thinks reporters are stupid. Well, some of them are. LOL!

I mean the stars had to be aligned for that comeback. Manu had to go 1 for 2. So instead of a 6 pt lead, it's only 5. Pop had to sit Duncan. Heat grabs offensive board and knocks down three to cut lead to 2. Kawhi Leonard had to go 1 for 2 again, so lead is only 3. Pop had to sit Duncan AGAIN. Heat grabs offensive rebound AGAIN and ties game. It's unbelievable!!

Then again these back to back titles are sometimes strung together by unbelievable luck. 2 of the Lakers 3 titles were very fortunate. A monumental collapse by the Blazers in the 4th quarter of game 7 in 2000 and a Vlade tip to Horry in 2002. We were lucky as well."

To be honest, I thought it would be Diaw who will be the "Horry" in that game 7. But apparently, no one can have ice cold veins like Mr. Robert Horry!

The 0.3 shot by Fish has to be the most clutch shot I can think of. About as close as you can get without losing. Also it came on top of Duncan's huge clutch shot so that gives it that extra lil' bit of spice.
