@AlexKennedyNBA

Sonny Weems will return to the NBA next season. He's a restricted free agent. Celtics, Pistons, Cavaliers and Clippers have shown interest.

Why is this guy getting attention like once every 2 months when nobody care? There was an article back in April I think of weems not signing with the raps blah blah.

Unless he gets overpaid, I don't see Colangelo letting him walk.

Thats exactly where I think he got better, he really didn't chuck much. His defense well, respectable. And also i think he became better shooter

Chuck! - YouTube
I don't recall his D being all that bad here. He was ok in that department, but yes he was certainly a chucker.

This is why I take these euroleagues with a grain of salt. You see scrubs putting up big numbers against guys who are pylons.

I think that the concerns regarding Weems are a bit overblown. If he plays within his role (which Casey would be sure to enforce) he can be a solid player. He'd improve our perimeter D if he was back in the fold and he'd be cheap too.

Sorry but that is BS, maybe you are talking about China..
example, D Will was playing in 2 league not even Euroleague, and his numbers were really not that impresive. Lawson was playing much worse than he is in the nba

I agree totally, though under Triano his D slipped along with many others. Casey should be able to both keep his intensity level up and the new offensive system does have a pecking order to restict his chucking.

I doubt Deron Williams went there looking to light things up. But he averaved 20ppg/6.5apg, 45FG% which isn't too bad for someone who only played 15 games with players he didn't know in a league he knew nothing about while probably being out of shape considering the lockout.
