Ginobili vs Harden is going to be awesome as well. Old version of Manu vs young version.

Manu>Harden

aka NBA Championship

Finally an interesting series with two teams that actually have a bench.

Nites 05-22-2012 01:08 AM

I think the Spurs can even play better basketball then what they have been playing.

Ball Don't Lie 05-22-2012 01:10 AM

The first game is apparently on Sunday. Wow.

On the bright side both teams have pretty much the same amount of rest.

Manu has a right hand, so I'll go with Ginobili as well. However, the gap is small.

I give the edge to Manu because he's a better passer. Defensively, I'd give the edge to Manu as well.

I agree. However, like I said, the gap is small.

They have to start both conference finals at the same time and both series in the east could go 7 games.

Spurs in 6 too.... unless Westbrook eats Parkers lunch and has another MVP-type series.

not going to happen. parker is way more poised and experienced.

Spurs have a handful of solid wing defenders. That, combined with the fact that defense isn't even San Antonio's strength (Spurs offense is awesome), and I don't like OKC's chances.

Key matchup:

Durant Vs Leonard

I'd hate to be the rookie going up against the 3x defending scoring champ. Could get ugly if Durant manages to have his way with him.

The Spurs have several players they can throw at Durant. S-Jax will probably see some time guarding him too. I wouldn't be surpirsed if Pop got creative at one point and even used Diaw for a short spurt. Boris's length sometimes bothers SF's when he guards them. Against Durant it wouldn't be much of an advantage, but it would minimize the advantage KD has over others.

Leonard has the best shot at guarding Durant.

He as a 7 foot 3 wingspan and Shaq size hands

2-1 Spurs

I really hope OKC wins this. I'll say they take it in 7 which is probably unrealistic since game 7 would be in SA.
