MEM is going to butcher OKC in MEM unless OKC's shooters get ridiculously hot from the outside, which is extremely unlikely on the road and how MEM is now guarding them.

Kendrick Perkins has to be the worst starter in the NBA. Hes completely useless out there. Its really hard to watch. And yet, he continues to play crunchtime minutes. Its mindblowing, especially when his backup is 1000x better than him at every aspect of basketball.

And Marc Gasol doesnt shoot the ball enough. Its infuriating.

Not only is he playing in the crunch time, Brooks is drawing up plays that put the ball in Perk's hands. Out of a time out with OKC down five late, they ran action with Perk trying to feed a flaring Durant for three. Perk promptly through the ball right into the defense.

With Westbrook out, Brooks will be given a pass. But if I were an OKC fan I'd be very discontent with his druthers.

Collison couldn't do anything against Randolph and Gasol. His stat line in 15:22 was 0 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist, 4 turnovers, and 6 fouls.

One game does not make a player. Collison has proven himself to be one of the best bigmen off the bench in the NBA, and he's better at every aspect of basketball than Perkins. Not only did Perkins get lit up, and miss really easy shots around the rim, he also couldnt catch a rebound and turned it over in key points in the game. He's the Landry Fields of OKC, an overpaid scrub who seems to be playing minutes to try and justify his horrible contract, not based on production.

I'd really like to see Brooks explain why he played Perkins so much yesterday. His one good quality was supposed to be defending the post and slowing down the good post players of the league, and yet Marc Gasol has taken a dump on him both games, with ease. And he could have done a lot more damage if he wasnt so unselfish.

It was nice to hear Matt get so excited about the Ed Davis dunk. Even if that was pretty much the Ed Davis playoffs highlights in one play.

I hate how unselfish Marc Gasol is. He was shooting well and causing all kinds of trouble to defense in game 2 and still he way too often just gave up the ball to Prince, who is close to useless offensively. Both Z-Bo and Gasol need to be more active getting their own shots or shots to each other. OKC cant cope with them. Ibaka can somewhat handle one of them, but no one else should be able to stop them.

if the heat do make it to the finals they're going to get one hell of a beating this post-season if they're potentially facing indiana and memphis afterwards lol

Anything happen? There's no way he's coming back, it would have been reported by now.

I cant believe they scheduled this and the NY series for SAT. Is there some big sports event going on today that would have hurt viewership that I'm not aware of? With the 2nd round being as good as it's been so far, taking a day off from games has to be one of the worst decisions a business like the NBA has ever made.
