I know but I'm just thinking ahead, how long can he play like he is (I'm not suggesting that he is getting old) Personally i think that it is reasonable to think that he has another 8-10 years. Just a random thought..

The Spurs vs Lakers series will be promising. Trust me. I guess they won't be meeting till the conference finals.

I'll bet everything I own that Parker will NOT last as long as Nash. Steve is an exception, not the rule. People forget that Nash came into the league at 22 and was under utilized during the first few years of his career.

At age 30, Nash had played 8,000 fewer regular season minutes than Parker has played so far. And that's not including the difference in playoff minutes; remember, the Spurs have gone on several deep playoff runs. To put that difference in perspective, 8,000 minutes is equivalent to roughly 3 full seasons of play at 33 minutes per game.

The Spurs have milked Parker for a lot, already. I'd guess he plays at a high level for 3 more years, then maybe has a couple of okayish years where his game either quickly falls off or his career ends due to a leg injury. Just my guess. I doubt he's in the league past 36.

I think Parker uses his quickness and speed A LOT more than Nash does/did. That could hurt Parker towards the end of his career. Nash is more IQ than anything.

Kawhi Leonard will be the X-Factor for the Spurs.

Lakers would have to beat OKC for that to happen and I don't think that Lakers can take down them down.

Both games start at 7pm. I'm going to be watching both games at work today lol. I'm glad there are no NHL games on tonight.
