Warriors Making Players Available

The only guy I'd want is Curry.

Quote:

Warriors general manager Larry Riley said it himself: To come back next season with the same roster would be "unacceptable."

He and owner Joe Lacob have consistently talked about the need to improve the roster. They spent most of February trying to bolster the team. Now, in this offseason, alterations will all but be required.

"We have to improve this roster," Riley said. "No question about that."

Ellis or Curry. But if they want to improve their roster, why would they deal with us?

Ball Don't Lie 04-13-2011 01:26 PM

If we get any pick besides the first pick we should immediately try and trade it in a package for Curry. A backourt of Steph and Derozan would give me hope in this team again

A line of Curry/DD/JJ/Davis/(maybe take a chance with Oden at a low price)? would make me jizz

JJ still needs to develop a jumper though. He should take pointers from Demar. His jumper has gotten 10 fold better

It would take alot more then a pick. Which would be fine if we had anything all that significant to give them off the roster. They probably want a proven player, and one other then Bargnani for a player like Curry. And i highly doubt they want another young player there. They want experience imo. If they wanted Bargnani/Bayless/Pick for Curry + ? I'd do it in a heartbeat but i don't see that as all that viable.

You know what would make me jizz....

Curry
Derozan
D. Williams (#2-3 pick?)
Davis
Chandler

Bench- Bayless, Barbosa, JJ, Amir, Kleiza, Evans + Cheap backup Center?

I would throw money at Chandler or Gasol and get it done if at all possible.... if we can land Curry. Then Draft Williams.

I'd take him if we could somehow land Gasol or Chandler in FA and have Biedrins as our backup. But this all pipe dreams.

What? The same David Lee that was supposedly better than Bosh?

Got it covered Toraps. Now lets move on.

jrob23 04-13-2011 03:34 PM

Dorrell Wright

then we would need to draft a PG or trade our pick for one

members on here aren't a big fan of his game i know i said it earlier in the season and ppl disagreed with me, but the fact he got some votes on ESPN for MIP confirms my belief that he is a very solid player... good 3p% and defender.. exactly what we need at the 3.

This.

DD and Curry in the backcourt with Davis up front would be IDEAL.... not to mention MLSE and the Raps would have a nice marketting angle with Curry "the hometown kid" (of sorts) coming back to the gym that he pretty much grew up in.

Fixxxer 04-13-2011 07:15 PM

if theres anything we can do to get Curry, i'd say do it

what about Bargnani/Calderon/Pick or even toss Evans in there

I'd say we're keeping Bayless for sure

At least you're being short and concise.

Curry would be ideal. I wouldn't mind Ellis either, but he's more of a me-first player. Wright would be a good pick-up, we can use a 3 point shooter.

jeffb 04-13-2011 07:59 PM

Bargnani, Barbosa or Amir, Bayless, #3 pick?

for

Curry or Ellis, Wright, Biedrins

Curry
Derozan
Wright
Davis
Biedrins

If Biedrins comes here he is coming a starter. And both of those guys will either resign or go to NY/ Boston in the off season. He would be a great starter for us, I think Fesenko would be a great pick up out of FA as back up, you resign Reggie for Veteran min. And you got a pretty solid 6 with Dorsey.
