Warriors finish game vs Bucks with 4 players

Quote:
The short-handed Warriors were forced to finish the final four seconds of their 113-104 loss to the Bucks with only four players.

NBA referee Joey Crawford invoked a rarely-used rule, which forced Golden State to keep a player on the floor that had fouled out.

Stephen Curry fouled Luke Ridnour in the final seconds of the game and headed to the bench. However, Crawford had Curry stay on the floor because NBA rules say that five players must remain on the floor at all times.

"I didn't know what was happening," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. "Joey had to come over and tell me. I've never seen that before."

lol I was playing NBA 2k9 with my friends and we tried to foul out every player but the same thing happened. So my question is was he just on the floor, was he able to shoot or anything or just stand there and do nothing?

Which explains him playing 42mpg and averaging 26ppg.

He fouled out, but was allowed to play. In such an instance the player cannot foul again or the opposing team gets two FT's and possession.
