Warrick joins the Bucks

RealGM: Basketball Wiretap Archives: Warrick Agrees To Sign With Bucks

Dark Knight 07-31-2009 12:44 PM

Not a smart move by Warrick. He had a chance to win a ring with the Cavs...and signed with the Bucks :dead:

zachus 07-31-2009 12:44 PM

The Bucks will be awful yet again.

VanCity 07-31-2009 12:54 PM

did they offer more money then the cavs?

Febreezy 07-31-2009 12:59 PM

he wants to be a legit starter and rack up 19/9 easy.
you'll see, you'll all see....
the guy put up 17/8 when Gasol was injured 2 seasons ago and he filled in as a starter.
now, he's on one of the worst team's in the league and will show the world what he can do.
he'll blow up, mark my words.

Febreezy 07-31-2009 01:08 PM

I'll hold that against you!

finstock 07-31-2009 01:16 PM

Where are they gonna find the room to insert him? They are already overflowing with talent: jumpin' Joe Alexander, Dan Gadzuric! hehe..

Gurk 07-31-2009 01:43 PM

WOW. He goes from one shit team to another. Smart move :dead:

dfunkie1 07-31-2009 01:46 PM

depending on the financial terms and length, it could be a good idea. he's proven serviceable, if he can prove more, he's given himself that opportunity to do so. there's really no reason for him to give up financial gain and opportunity this young in his career to settle as an low paid role player.

PT is what he would be thinking.

Febreezy 07-31-2009 02:50 PM

I know that, but in Cleveland he could have a shot at the title.

the man's still young, he still wants to rack up some dough first

Febreezy 07-31-2009 03:04 PM

I guess but if he retires and doesn't win a ring he can look and say "Jeez the Cavs would of been a good choice."

I think its obvious that winning wasn't the determining factor. He's young, he wants to make money. The Bucks must have offered more money. Warrick is doing what every other player who is not at the end of his career does. Money talks. Also, Warrick will get a chance to play in Milwaukee but that might not have happened in Cleveland.

Febreezy 07-31-2009 04:56 PM

^Which is a win/lose situation, cause you win(get money), but lose(aren't a champion).

jermyzy 07-31-2009 06:42 PM

^But there are no guarantees that he will win a championship with the Cavs either. If I were him, I'd do the same thing too. More PT --> better stats --> bigger contract
