Not a tremendous pool to select from. I hope it isn't JVG. I enjoy his tv work too much.

Not sure who else is available but that's the list that came to mind.

The situation is made for Jerry Sloan to take over if he wants it.

I would love Sloan here. I was worried about KL and or RG chaffing at a restrictive system but if I remember Sloan's system had some allowances for creativity when called for -and some players like DD and KL need more structure.

As for the Clippers I'm not sure Paul (c)would handle Sloan at all.

Woj says Byron Scott has to be a candidate due to past with Paul. Yuck. I'd rather have Vinny.

CBS eye on basketball says Mike Malone could be in the mix thanks to relationship in New Orleans. That would be cool to see.

He wasn't fired, he just wasn't resigned/extended.

You're right. This is so much more of a positive outcome for him. I mean even though it's basically the same thing, this way he doesn't get paid for doing nothing. That's like a one way ticket to substance abuse. This way he will be sure to busy himself by selling trinkets that his small children made.

They fired Vinny? He finally gets to coach a good Clipper team, then they can him. Makes sense I guess?
