Default Vince hits an 86 footer

Sitting down. This gets into Guinness then I guess. Didn't Dwight just break the record by hitting one at halfcourt before the AS game?

Anyway - this could be a sport that Vince really excels at. He could stay down on the floor the whole time. It'd be like wheelchair basketball without the wheelchair.

there is a magic leprechaun hiding in the top of the roof who caught the ball midflight and then threw it in from up top.

he later edited the video to make it look like Carter made the shot.

Yeah, what's your point? I've actually made a few of my own videos with that Leprechaun, cool cat. Great hands, really knows how to make a half-court shot.

I've advised him against making videos like this with pro players though. Ball-licking fanboys will look for anything to fuel their argument.

"Vince Carter is not an underachieving, prima-donna with a propensity for being a bitch. He can make 86 footers from the fetal position!! What will you say about him now! He's amazing and I love him."

When you've averaged 28/6/6 in an NBA season and you were the leading votegetter at the NBA all-star game, maybe your shots will matter too.

What's next? Vince was never a good dunker? Go suck an egg dude, ppl can like whatever players they want.

I didn't dispute any of that. Dude was filthy - had the talent to be legendary but didn't have the heart to follow through on it.

I read this forum for about a month before joining and became very well aware of where Vince Carter sits on your podium of love. It just made me laugh that you got on me like I dissed your mama when all I really did was question the legitimacy of a full-court shot at a fucking practice.

Why would he jump off the ground and celebrate and then do an interview about a fake shot?

You really believe that? Some people just question things for the sake of being an asshole.

The NJ Nets are showing some real heart without Vince though, I'll give you that for sure. They come out and everyone's mancrush of a solid core of B.Lopez/Lee/Harris come out and play with heart every night. That's REALLY helping them. GO NETS.

No he won't? He's not legendary now and his career is declining at a fast pace. Him and McGrady are washed up has-beens.

If Vince would have started his career in any place other then Toronto and had someone like Shaq or Pippen on his side we would be talking about him as one of the greatest of all time. I think it's time Toronto fans get off his ass and respect him. We should cheer him every time he comes to our arena. You guys to remember all the good things he did for us right? Let's stop the wilfull blindness. VC forever!

Maybe people question it just because it's the internet..... where 99% of crap like this actually IS fake.

It's real. I once seen Roger Mason Jr do it in practice. Their were no cameras though. Too bad though.
