Magic Vince Carter's Bad Night

lmao ..

Quote:
As the third quarter draws near a close, Carter and Barnes collide under the basket. Barnes is fine. Carter looks like he has been shot, and crumples to the floor, allowing his teammates to try to defend against the Celtics with just four players. Eddie House hits a 3. Vince Carter goes to the bench for a long time, but not long enough for Magic fans.

he came back at the end of the 4th for the magic and almost cost them the game with a bad turnover, the Celtics nvr capitalized though.

this paragraph is pretty humourous...

Quote:
The Magic change the play on the inbound, and call for Howard to catch it in the post -- it's not nearly as good as catching it wide open on the run in the lane, but at least it's a way to get their best player the ball. Or ... is it? Before Carter can make the entry pass, he has the ball poked away by Rasheed Wallace. It rolls toward midcourt. Rondo beats Carter there by about half an hour. Carter jumps right on top of him. A blatant foul, only Carter got there so late, that he is saved by the fact that Rondo has already called timeout.
cue bmats with the justification...

Magic fans might be noticing that Hedo Turkoglu had one of his best games as a Raptor last night.

The difference between Hedo and Wince Harder is this;
Hedo doesnt try to change things when he knows he doesnt have it, Wince goes all out and kills the team. The best virtue is to know what you are, and what you are capable of.
Now Hedo feels it, he ll get more involved, Wince will always want the last plays drawn out for him, and keep messing up. Thats is what I was trying to say. It is hard to deal with chubby ex superstars!!!! They try too hard and in Wince's case when he cant do it, he lays down on the floor and plays dead.

I was just reading an article on Kobe talking about his high school coach motivating him by glorifying a guy in Florida leading his team to a state championship with a broken arm.. Who was that warrior?.. None other than Vince Carter. Yes, Vincent Lamar Carter apparently played while injured.

i thought his departure from jersey to his home state to play with his home team and a monster in dwight would revitalize his career...meanwhile were seeing vintage vince quitter carter. his cousin did the same thing in orlando and he quickly wore out his welcome as well and now tmac's out the league. those 2 are massive losers.karma? they could have dominated the league and brought free agent gold to toronto and won championships together.look at their careers.....sad. whats sadder and more dumb is that i took vince Carter with my third pick in my fantasy l. he's single handed making me lose the fg% cat...f vc.

They started the season 21-4 without Lewis for the first 10 and Nelson for the majority of those games.

Losing Carter would be amazing for Orlando though. The Raps and Nets did really good after losing him. :

I think about this ALL THE TIME.

If there was a way we could have kept them.... man we would have been amazing.

Butch Carter allowed both VC and TMac to become irresponsible chuckers. He said they were young and he would allow them to use that as an excuse. That's bad coaching, and he was lucky at the time that they made a lot of bad shots. But they never did learn the importance of taking good shots. They both became players with poor basketball intelligence. So - I don't see how they would have reached greatness if they both stayed here. And I also don't see how Butch is anything but overrated around here.

Carter is not a team player,he's too selfish and he's not young anymore.JJ Reddick is playing much better than him.

I don't know about that LX..... based on what some (like Oakley) have said, Butch did quite a bit to push VC and T-Mac when he was the bench boss. Both players were arguably at their peaks (although T-Mac would rise even higher on his own) here and I'm not sure if you can really discredit Butch in light of that....
