Vince Carter may be traded Tommorow.

Vince Carter did not play against the Orlando Magic tonight due to a "strained elbow". There is reason to believe that this was actually a coverup by the organization to sit him out because he is involved with a trade that will be announced tommorow. Rumor has it that it has to do with Phoenix in a blockbuster trade for Amare Stoudemire. Vince looked depressed all game and wasn't social with anyone. I heard this from several close sources of mine. I may be wrong but just want to put it out there.

Cool, thanks.

He did the same thing when he wanted out of TO.

He refused to interact with anyone.

Although, Amare is playing tonight in Detroit.

He wouldnt be depressed about going to Phoenix.

Playing with Nash, Shaq and JRich would be deadly.

Coming to Toronto would make him depressed.

It could be a three team deal.

I was talking about the entire season leading up to the trade.

For example, in training camp he refused to participate in practice and sat and rode the treadmill instead.

They were on a 4 game win streak and beat denver by 44. I think they would have rode out this win streak to see if it'd last.

Carter is definitely injured. not saying he won't be dealt but it's a real injury i think.

Yeah I could definitely see this happening. Picking up Vince as a desperate keep contending move makes sense for Phoenix with the rest of their team.

Theyre not going to keep contending with VC instead of Amare, it just makes them more inbalanced.

Rod Thorn has done it again!

...If it actually happens. Amare/Lopez frontline is sick and the Harris/Amare pick and roll will be unstoppable because Harris can actually get to the rim unlike Nash.

Nets just need to fill out their starting sg/sf positions in the offseason with some decent vets and theyre set. Their core would be amazing.

Only thing I'd be concerned about is Harris and Amare being two of the biggest star primadonnas at their positions. I don't know if that'll end well

I am mistaken, Vince wasn't part of the rumor for Stoudemire. It was different other players on the nets in the deal, much younger players. Vince is still not safe though as 4 or 5 teams are interested in him such as the Spurs, Cavaliers, Bulls and (yes, i don't believe it either) Raptors.

Meanwhile, Kiki Vandeweghe made no offer for Amare, and Amare thinks it would be phenomenol if he played for the Pistons (another team that is rumored to get him). Now that would be scary.

He definitely hurt himself in the previous game. I was actually impressed that he didn't make a big deal about it then.

i think with the way the nets have been playing s of late... werent they on a 6 game win streak without VC?
he's as good as gone.
they are seeing that he's not needed, and can get better pieces to build around Harris and Lopez.
yes Lopez, that kid is good.

Nah, makes no sense especially with Thorton at the 3 and Gordon at the 2. Those positions are set. I wouldn't replace either one of those 2 with Carter.

Yea, in the offseason it looked like it could be done b/c we didn't know how good Gordon would be at the 2.
