Good shooting day, international rules, referees not swallowing whistles on obvious traveling and fouls, and... anything is possible. Spain is a very good and experienced team.

I'm willing to bet this roster wins every game by 10 or more points... LeBron, Griffen, Kobe, Durant... C'mon son thats too potent...

Anthony Davis is Griffin's replacement.

Not sure if it goes here... but this team is not close to 92, Kobe is drinking his own bathwater. No team without Jordan or Magic is better. and they lose based on Love Chandler over Robinson Malone. Lebron might be the only player better than a couple of them... but I bet Pippen shuts him down better than anyone in the NBA right now.

They should have a token rookie or 2. That's how Team USA used to roll.

Yep. I dunno what Kobe is thinking with those comments.

When you look at that 92 dream team it was truly stacked at every position. Beyond Laetener (sp) and a lack of Isiah Thomas you likely had the best player at each position in the NBA and then backed up by the 2nd best player at that position. When Kobe says they weren't athletic he's kind of talking out of his ass.

That team was athletic, tough nosed and incredibly intelligent. Hell, Stockton and Malone could run the Pick and Roll all game long.

totally agree. Would be an amazing game, as would any game between the dream team and a best from the nba of any year but dream team would win, fairly comfortably.

do you guys think this is the 2nd best ever olympic team?

2008 team was way ahead of the current 2012 team. This 2012 team isn't complete. They literally have no depth in the front court.
