Now that I've thought about it, missing pivot foot travels isn't really a big deal in my book. I mean, it's not like switching your pivot foot three times while standing in the same spot is giving you anything more than a minute advantage over a defender.

The missed calls that irk me are the ones where they give them 2.5 - 3 steps after picking up the ball, a la Lebron James in the video that mango posted. That extra step or even half a step can get you that much closer to the basket and is definitely something that the league needs to start cracking down on.

I find the pivot foot and shuffle step to be irritating, too, because it can give a positional or first-step advantage over your defender. Travelling should be called more tightly across the board.

what kills me is if Bargnani's thoughts even travel in a game all three refs will whistle the kid down.

Everytime.

i honestly don't understand...like the referee in the Maggette video was starring at Maggette's foot. The whole process wasn't even near from being blocked. It was right there..how can you miss it?

LOL, WOW. It's amazing how a referee can not call that, but why was no other playing complaining?

If theyre fixing games why did the refs eventually call an offensive foul? Wouldnt they have let him get away with that too?
