trade talk between LAL and Portland

felton to LAL
for
Blake + tpe

a trade that make sense at both end.
blake know the portland system and will fit perfectly to be the genral on the floor.
LAL need a new pg and felton need a new team.

pretty sure you can't package the tpe with any players. it's either a bad rumour, or there's the pieces missing from the second deal that will need to take place.

i think it's a bad deal for the lakers. as we all know, they need a pg that can shoot and felton isn't really the player to fill that role.

Bankiz 03-04-2012 07:22 PM

maybe a rd team. and portland can grab a pick i the process. that will sweet this.

felton isn't welcme overthere. and don't produce as he should have. so why not.

can BC take part of it and grab batum in the process.

If players were worth their weight, it'd be a great deal for L.A.

It is not a package, its the way to complete the deal
Lakers absorb feltons 7.5M contract with Lamar Odom TPE and send back Steve Blake thus Portland have 3.5M TPE left

Not quite sure why Portland does it tho

Steve Blake had some of his best years in Portland and under McMillan.

I don't like the deal for the Lakers.

Felton is not the type of player the Lakers need at the moment.

The Lakers are desperate for shooters, athleticism and defense on the perimeter... none of which Felton provides.

Blake has been solid since coming back from injury.

Felton's been horrible this season. He's out of shape. He isn't the same player that he was in NY, and even if he was, he wouldn't be able to showcase that type of game in LA because the system in NY probably fits Felton's game a lot more.

I'm getting trade fatigue, sepecially since none of them seem to happen.

maybe they can flip Felton over for Jose. :mischief:

btw, Felton is clearly an upgrade over Fisher and Blake. Even what he is now.

BurrowsTheGreat 03-06-2012 04:36 PM

i like the deal, good for both sides

Have you watched the Lakers with Blake back?

Toby 03-08-2012 02:06 AM

It's kinda funny, Felton's put a couple good games together, after hearing the Lakers might evacuate him from Portland.
