Default McGrady for VC?

Sources: New jersey Nets, Houston Rockets discuss Vince Carter trade - ESPN

That would be interesting.

At this point, I think VC is a more mature and better player than McGrady. The most interesting thing about TMac is his 09-10 ending contract of 20M ish.
Hey, if you can get rid of Carter's contract. Who knows? Maybe TMac will be rejuvenated without Yao. Or maybe 2 ballhogs in Harris/Tmac won't work?

i dont think a winning team can be built around Yao. There are too many flaws in his game. He cant run the floor for easy buckets, he gets too many fouls, he gets winded too fast, when the team runs through him, nothing gets accomplished on offence and his defence isnt good either. His help D is terrible.

vc for t-mac...wow.. vc could be a great fit for that team .. on the otherhand tmac at newjersey i dont think that would work but i can see this contract and have alot of money to build around harris and lopez. vc on rockets could make them alott better ..

Maybe we should offer Marion's expiring, some rookie, and a 1st for Antawn Jameson just like Cavs are doing.

sign me up. And then if we trade bosh, that would be nice. But Bargs will soon play like jamison and their style will conflict with each others game.

Things are getting real interesting now. Looks like NJ is reallly looking to get rid of Carter since they have lopez and harris.

Yeah, Vince had no heart when he helped the Nets beat the Raptors in the playoffs 2 years ago (25/6/4/45%). You're not that bright, are you?

I think you're mixing Carter up with Bosh. Bosh showed 1/10th the heart Vince showed in that series, putting up just 17 PPG on 39% shooting. One of the worst performances I've ever seen.

That would be pretty hypocritical seeing as how Artest has been dogging it all season. He doesn't even work hard to get good shots anymore, which is why he's shooting 38%.

Here in bold is everything you need to know about Vince Carter's heart. The man even tanked his free throws. It boggles my mind that you can find a way to stick up for this guy......

artest has always had a poor shot selection. his motivation comes on the defensive end and is known for getting into his teammates faces for poor effort. maybe a little more motivational than jason kidd....

as for Bosh scoring 17ppg on 38% shooting. did you watch the series? they completely collapsed on him every opportunity they had. no single player work thru the coverage he had, especially when he doesn't have the ball skills to dribble thru it. our biggest problem that series was jason kidd and not having the players capable of relieving the pressure Bosh faced every possession.

Misc. article from Andrew Wojnarowski: Cavs free to spend if they choose - NBA - Yahoo! Sports

- Cavs possibly offering Wally for Jamison

- Three way with Bulls/Wolves/Suns with Hinrich going to Minny, Thomas/expirings to Phoenix, Amare to Bulls. Amare talk is all over the map but after tonight I'm guessing he's not moving.

- Pistons favorites for Boozer this summer

- Celts want Raja Bell

- Big one: Kings want straight up expiring for Salmons. Parker for him, get it done BC.

You're going to base an 11 year career on 20 games? LOLOL.

I don't know what to say. I never gave you too much credit in the past, but it still looks like I gave you too much as it was.

BTW, despite the poor numbers he STILL lead the team in scoring at the time of the trade. Bosh was averaging like 12 PPG or something.

If they're collapsing on you every possession, that means teammates are open. He should have found the open teammates. And if what you were saying were true, he would have averaged 6-8 assists per game in that series. That is, if he did the proper thing and passed the ball when doubled instead of throwing up low percentage contested jumpers.

Very true.

We always talk shit about Bosh for his borderline pitiful decisions when the D collapses on him, and for good reason. Guy just can't pass out of the double team/pass out of a pressured situation. Thankfully Bargnani, once inserted into a primary role, is a great enough passer that he should be able to find the open man quite often.

Not ONCE can I ever recall Bosh driving to the hoop than kicking it to the open man in the corner. I mean literally not once. Ever.
