I hope Memphis gets it just to see what they do with their dilemna of picking the hometown kid or Beasley.

I think taking Rose, and then trading Conley for a nice deal would be taking a huge step in not only getting the fans back(they didnt deserve a franchise in the first place though) but getting better as a team.

Ahhh .... drama at its finest if the Grizz get the first pick overall. Should be very interesting.

As long as it's not Miami, fuck tanking

I'm rooting for Seattle out of sympathy or Memphis because they've had bad luck over the years and deserve a pick me up

If Minnesota gets it, they're gonna have an AWESOME rivarly with Portland. Could be trading championships a couple years down the road.

NBA hands another big market the top pick.

Seems like CHI fans really want Rose over Beasley too

Why wouldn't they? He's from Chicago and its no secret that Kirk's days are over. Them getting the #1 selection just reaffirms that they will take Rose and deal Hinrich this summer.

I still like Kirk, he was forced to play out of position at the 2 a lot so I think that fucked up his game. Give him a good bigman I think he'll go back to being as good as he was before this year. Hes one of the better pick and roll PG's in the league and his defence is solid. If Portland gets him the league is over.

If they pick Beasely I think Chicago would be better up blowing up the Hinrich/Gordon/Lol Dang trio and feeding off the lottery for a while and buildin off their franchise player than trying to compete with those 4. I don't think that group can win a title. Would probably make the second round a bunch, but yeah, I dunno.

I would try to make a move for Lol, but I don't think we have anything the Bulls want.

the bulls/hinrich experiment is officially over.
they will definitely take Rose this summer.
Beasley's work ethic and atitude is just too much of a factor for them to risk.
they've wasted their last 2 big picks on risky players and have failed. they will definitely go for the sure thing. and thats rose.
after an abismal season, they want a guy who will come in and turn things around... they want a leader at the point. they know kirk isnt that guy, rose iwill be.
they'll re-sign deng, get rid of kirk and build the team around deng and rose... and will try to keep gordon as well.

Keep in mind though that Rose doesn't need to be in the starting lineup off the bat... they might keep Hinrich for a bit for that reason

hinrich is still decent trade bait...
his stock is at an all time low, but its still pretty high.
look for seattle, miami, etc to come knocking.
they can pull off a decent trade dangling kirk's name.

Chicago will take Rose. Rose is from Chicago, and Beasley plays the same position as Deng - their own golden boy, so I can't see the Bulls taking Beasley unless they draft for someone.

Yeah, I think they will too.

Mayo's stock seems to be rising lately... Chad Ford wrote an article lately orgasming over him, and there's been word that Riley is interested in him. Ford made some good points, he scored 21 points a game with good defense in his USC run, and that was playing off the ball which he wasn't used to. In the last stretch of the season when he was adjusting he was putting up more like 24 ppg.
