Default Throw-forward jerseys

We've all heard about throw-back jerseys but why don't they make throw-forwards

Lets say your team sucks and has no chance in making the playoffs wouldn't it lift your spirits if you could get a personalized Griffin, Harden or Rubio jersey?
It won't be worth anything if they don't end up on your team but think about the value if your pick is right.

Jesus. That was a mess. The Kansas City uniforms were awful. As were the Arizona ones. The Seattle uniforms were the best of the bunch - and that's not saying much.

Why would you waste your money for a player that might not ever play on your team

And why would Reebok / Adidas shell out any money at all to produce them?

It gives u hope for next season
Lets say you know your team isn't going to the playoffs and its February, don't you want a pick me up and be hopefull for next year. You could also be one of the first people to have the jersey.

On another note why would you
want a jersey from someone who
plays on your favorite team,
like Banks

I'm assuming the value would be the same as the ones they'd start selling on nba.com and in stores.

i'm pretty sure you can't sell jerseys with a guy's name on the back that isn't under contract in any way with any of the organizations represented by that jersey. these are humans, remember, not video game characters.

You trying to write a Haiku or a poem?

I don't think anyone wants a Banks jersey (I don't think they even sell them in Centre Sports), but why would someone buy a Teague Raptors jersey or a Griffin Raptors jersey or a Rubio Raptors jersey? It makes no sense. Recession, bud, recession.

Then if the players aren't on that specific team, the jersey is worthless.. not only that, you end up getting weird looks.

actually they can put a patch on them like they do for throw-backs
Remember throw-backs are worth a lot
more than current jerseys

They will be differentiated by the patch
which will have a higher value than
post draft date jerseys because they
are the firsts of its kind

It will be a gamble though, everyone
gambles anyway

I don;t think too many people have disposable income where they can just literally throw away 100-120 Canadian Dollars on a "gamble" jersey.
