lol and what about the great flops by all the clipper players? I've never seen a team flop more than clips do, and sometimes they actually get the call...it's wack.

I just mean in general. He was falling face first and besides the fact that Williams was there, he just runs in to him and gets the call. Its a poison in the NBA.
By the way, the Clippers are slowly giving this game away going away from what worked |

Because he refuses to believe he's the second option? lol....
As good as KD and Westbrook are I can't see them winning a title until they figure out how to share the damn ball and stop all the 1-on-1 play. 15 assists as a team is pretty woeful. I'm surprised that it hasn't bit them in the ass more often. |

Westbrook took more shots... so what? he still shot 50% from the field. how is this a bad thing? you're telling me that Bosh has never taken more shots that wade or lebron? how about amare taking more shots that melo...? this is exactly what is killing some teams, this whole perspective on who's taking more shots... or who's the 'man' on each team. if theres a decent look, take the shot. dont whine after the game about who got more touches. i bet this is the exact problem thats currently happening in NY. |

OKC's near the bottom of the league when it comes to assists as a team. They run A LOT of iso plays and don't use a lot of ball movement. Fortunately, they rebound the ball pretty well and their D is solid (and their 2 stars are pretty damn good) so it's working for them. Once we start getting closer to the playoffs though I think it's going to be more difficult for them to succeed with this style. It's also going wear on those 2 guys and stunt the development of OKC's other players. As it stands MIA knows that it can count on guys like Cole, Miller, Chalmers and Haslem to step up and hit shots... to have big games. Who's going to do that for OKC other than Harden? |

you're really just pulling names out of a hat for Miami... cole, miller, chalmers, haslem....? when have they really hit any shot that mattered, in a game that mattered?
not regular reason, but playoffs? OKC can count on Thabo, Ibaka, Perkins, etc, etc.... i'll just use these guys, because its the same as every other team. theres always a group of role players that can hit a shot. what makes Miami's so different? |

The guys that you mentioned for OKC are 1-dimensional defenders. Can you really see any one them knocking down a 20fter to ice a game? Come on dude.. you know there's a difference. |

Westrook played ok yesterday on offence, his problem, as always, was forcing the action TOO much. He must have turned it over 5-7 times, and most of them were just off him trying to force his way to the basket in semi transition with no teammates with him. He needs to learn when to back it out and when to attack better, but he took good shots in the halfcourt last night, he was very aggressive in that regard. OKCs main problem is they have no offensive system. As TOR mentioned, its either pick and roll for Westbrook, transition, or ISO/simple down pick for Durant. They need to impliment a better system that not only gets those 2 shots, but gets Ibaka a post up once in a while, more pick and pops, and get more ball movement and player movement off more pick and rolls and screen downs. That and they need to use Harden as the primary ballhandler A LOT more. But yeah, I'd agree with TOR, I'd take Haslem and Chalmers over any OKC role player to take a big shot. Both have hit them in the past. OKC I still think is a more well rounded coach, and a scoring veteran(since Harden should start) off the bench away from winning it all. |
