If he can play with this effort every time then he will be a all-star soon. Very talented.

Thorton with the dagger. He gave the Lakers problems all game long.

No way will LA get anywhere with Kobe having to work this hard every game.

The Spurs game was a good watch. They have lot of young talent now with Kawhi Leanard, James Anderson, and Tiago Splitter. Manu was his same old self making brilliant plays.

There's no Bynum. Kobe wouldn't have to work that hard every game. However, this team is still not going anywhere. We need Dwight.

Fun night around the league last night, some things I noticed:

John Wall still has some work to do in terms of decision making to take that next step. He's gotta slow the hell down in crunchtime instead of trying to rush down the court and take on the whole team.

Kyle Lowry is the most underrated PG in the NBA. He's the total package now with his D already being stellar, now his offence has finally caught up.

Kevin Durant is better than last year, which is scary. He actually looks smoother and looks like he has more shots in his arsenal now. They really need to start Harden before the playoffs though or else they're going to go down in a lot of 1st qtrs and have to play catchup. I dont see an issue with starting him and then having 1 or 2 of the big 3 play with their bench when they come in.

Rubio is awesome, Adelman is going to be starting him sooner rather than later. Williams looked good too. Love is still putting up empty stats. He's like David Lee on steroids in terms of his game and impact.

Looks like Memphis is going to take some time to gel. I do think it'll eventually work with Gay and theyll be a powerhouse though.

Portland is a really fun team to watch. Their ball movement is one of the best in the NBA, and they just play an exciting brand of basketball. Philadelphia on the other hand is stuck in no mans land with their lineup staying the same what seems like the last 5 years.

Sac Town actually looks like they can be a playoff team this year in the weak West if they play as composed as they did last night. Gone are all of the ISOs and in is the ball movement and player movement. Reke Thornton and Cousins can be a handful for any team if they play with the same continuity, and Hayes has added something they havent had in a longtime, he fits their lineup perfectly.

I feel sorry for Curry but this looks like it could be a season long injury. He keeps getting injured on the most inconsequential of moves. He played awesome last night too. Chicago needs to gel and quickly. They really need to look to get Boozer involved more early to keep his head in the game. They have too many options to be putting up so little offence against a team like GS. Very disappointing performance.

I think Ty Lawson might be up there too. I guess he does get some love, but not enough.

I'm not with ya here..... what do you mean empty?

If 15 shots miss, and you grab those misses and retain possession for your team, that isn't empty. If 10 of your own shots go in, thats 20 points.

Kevin Love is the emptiest mofo in the NBA i guess, he's also one of the most valuable.

Agreed re: Lowry. He's been under the radar for the last few years but now that he's finally got the starting job full-time he's going to get noticed a lot more. He's a terror defensively. Love his game.

Agreed re: Rubio too. He's going to be really, really good.

Also no Odom. Still think that it was a big mistake for LA to get rid of him.

I like Love but he doesnt have a big impact on the game and winning like the other top PFs do. He's overrated in being compared to the other top PFs because of his lack of defence and he cant score on his own consistantly. He isnt a franchise guy IMO, he's in the 2nd level of players near the same level as a Bosh
