This is the achilles heel of the clippers, game going down the wire they have the blinders on trying to get the ball to Chris Paul, and Paul has the blinders on needing to be the guy to make the play.

And with that Clippers' loss, the Lakers are pretty much set for 3rd. Since Dallas has the tiebreaker against Houston, they are pretty much set for 6th. It's revenge time...

Kobe. Never. Forgets.

Flying reverse headlock is not an acceptable basketball manuever.

I'd say at least 2 game suspension for Lopez

Nah. I dont think that was that bad. He tried to make a hard foul and it went a bit bad, but it wasnt an attempt to injure (like those Bynum tackles).

Flagrant for sure, but I dont see a need for suspension.

Luckily for Suns, Clips guards went and got T'd up so the result of it all was 1 point to both teams.

Uh.... Robin Lopez isn't exactly a small guy. And why would Griffin retaliate and risk suspension when his team is jockeying for playoff position right now?

Griffin and Lebron take so much flak that it's ridiculous.

You do realize Paul is one of the top 3 finishers in the NBA right now?(hes made the most shots with under 2 mins left in close games in the last 5 years) What do you want the Clippers to do, run a play for Blake Griffin who will just get fouled and miss the FTs?

The Clippers will be a championship contender next year if 4 things happen:

1. Blake Griffin gets his FT shooting in to the 70+%
2. DeAndre Jordan stops making boneheaded plays and plays solid defence consistantly instead of going for every shot block and being out of place on defence allowing every center against the Clippers to go off.
3. Firing VDN and replacing him with SVG or any decent coach.
4. Getting a true starting SG.

All things that arent out of the realm of possibility and could happen this offseason. And IMO it IS that simple.

It's a true testament to CP3s greatness that they're in 4th place right now with the team and coach that they have. Theyve won countless close games this year because of his clutch ability.

It's easy to see what's wrong with the Clippers. They spent all that bread on Caron Butler, and the pudger hasn't done a frickin' thing for LA.

You'd have to think that they have this covered if Billups is there next season. Nick Young should be able to step into that role as well.

Limpy Billups is done, they'd have been better off keeping Baron Davis

Billups couldnt defend SGs pre injury, I dont anything from him besides being a decent backup PG who takes too many shots next year.

And Young is a possibility, but if youre a title contender, are you really comfortable with him at the starting 2? I wouldnt be.

If I'm the Clippers, I'd make every attempt at acquiring Ray Allen this offseason, and if he doesnt work out, the better version of Young in JR Smith. Smith is an underrated defender, and I think CP3 would be able to help contain his idiocy.

Then I'd go after a backup PF who can consistantly make shots(Landry or Jason Thompson), and a 7 footer who can play defence.

Smith would be nice.... not sure how much Allen has left at this point. He has to slow down at some point... and he never seemed that great to me defensively (tough position to guard though).

On another note.... The Spurs are taking it to the Lakers tonight. Damn.

can we just give the Spurs the title?

Amare comes back. Knicks lose to the Cavs. Better off without him.

Melo once again shows he cant adjust his game to be able to play with another star. He obviously cant win in the playoffs on his own as currently constructed, so if he cant play with other star(s), hes never going to win.
