they also beat the hornets while they were hot, plus the spurs, and bulls... they still need to upgrade their roster to be championship worthy

He's way better then i expected at this point. He's this good this fast...crazy. The guy is a beast for sure. If he can stay healthy and have a long career the Clippers might have a shot at respectibility and maybe even challenge for a championship eventually.

I'm actually amazed by the stats Griffin has put up. Dude's putting up these kinds of numbers without a consistent jumpshot and questionable decision making at times. I can legitimately see this guy averaging 30/15 in his prime.

DeAndre Jordan deserves a ton of credit for the Clippers' wins too... kid is a BEAST defensively.

Looks like the Raps won't have to worry about the Clipps come lottery time.

And shot 19/24 (79%).... lol... jesus.

If by some miracle LAC makes the playoffs does Griffin get MVP consideration?

i think so.
also, you mentioned DeAndre Jordan earlier, ToRap, and he's been on a tear lately... and Baron Davis has also been really good -like he's gone back in time good.

I'm not even sure that making the playoffs is a miracle anymore. That says a lot about how amazing he is for a rookie. It's not just the stats but also the way in which he seems to have energized the franchise. Even fat-ass B-dizzle is throwin' down dunks again.

He threw an inbounds pass with 0:06 left (Kings down by 2) and threw it over everyone out of bounds. Why have him throw it in i'll never know.

Could be.... gonna be tough in the WC though.

I remember saying back in the summer (mostly in jest) that Lebron should have considered LAC.... can you imagine how disgusting that team would look right now with him at the SF? Wow.

Well, you don't always go with the best pure passer to make the in bounds pass. It can depend on whether the in bound pass is being defended or not. Sometimes you have a bigger player do it because of sight lines or wanting to keep certain players involved in the actual play drawn up. Depending on the context, there are legit reasons for having a big in bound the ball in a late game situation.

I didn't see the pass, so maybe there was no good reason for Cousins to be chosen. I'm just speculating.

Thriller92 and I thought that was a decent idea, too. The reason I remember is because Thriller said they could win 55+ with Lebron and Jeffb dismissed it.

As for the west, the reason I'm not sure it is a miracle anymore is partly because Denver might trade Melo AND Billups. If that happens, Denver might slip in the second half of the year. We also don't know what will happen with Phoenix. I could see a scenario in which 5 teams are fighting for the 7th and 8th seed with a month to go in the season. But before they pose a real threat, the Clippers need to start winning on the road.
