In October, Blake Griffin averaged 16.7 points, 11 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
Then in November, he scored 20.9 points, grabbed 11.7 boards and dished out 2.7 assists per game. December was next and Griffin averaged 23 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists. So far in January, he's averaging 25.6 points, 14.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists. |

He's way better then i expected at this point. He's this good this fast...crazy. The guy is a beast for sure. If he can stay healthy and have a long career the Clippers might have a shot at respectibility and maybe even challenge for a championship eventually. |

I'm actually amazed by the stats Griffin has put up. Dude's putting up these kinds of numbers without a consistent jumpshot and questionable decision making at times. I can legitimately see this guy averaging 30/15 in his prime.

also, you mentioned DeAndre Jordan earlier, ToRap, and he's been on a tear lately... and Baron Davis has also been really good -like he's gone back in time good. |

I'm not even sure that making the playoffs is a miracle anymore. That says a lot about how amazing he is for a rookie. It's not just the stats but also the way in which he seems to have energized the franchise. Even fat-ass B-dizzle is throwin' down dunks again.

I remember saying back in the summer (mostly in jest) that Lebron should have considered LAC.... can you imagine how disgusting that team would look right now with him at the SF? Wow. |

I didn't see the pass, so maybe there was no good reason for Cousins to be chosen. I'm just speculating. |

As for the west, the reason I'm not sure it is a miracle anymore is partly because Denver might trade Melo AND Billups. If that happens, Denver might slip in the second half of the year. We also don't know what will happen with Phoenix. I could see a scenario in which 5 teams are fighting for the 7th and 8th seed with a month to go in the season. But before they pose a real threat, the Clippers need to start winning on the road. |
