I still prefer Rondo.

What he offers defensively and on the glass makes up for the lack of shooting IMO. And he's a gamer who can take over without hoisting a shot.

All 3 PGs are certainly tearing it up though.

DWill is a beast but nobody can control a game and take over it lake Paul does. Rondo is at best #3

As good as Dwill and Rondo have been this year. Chris Paul is the MVP so far of the season. He has the worse team of all of them by far, has influenced the most in every aspect of the game on N. Orleans great start. That comes from someone whose favourite PG is D.Will.

Nash never gets the credit he deserves.

Still havn't seen Deron or Paul take their teams to the Western Conference finals. Until they show me they can put on a performance in the playoffs like Kid Canada, they are number 2a and 2b.

82 game season put Nash at number whetever you want, but for a 7 game series he is still perhaps the most unstoppable offensive player in the game.

What you say is true, it seems that Nash doesn't get the credit he deserves. But I think in this moment Paul is a little bit better. So Rondo in not even #3. And more Paul's defense is great Nash's...

Actually, Utah made the Western Conference Finals in 2007, but I somewhat agree. In terms of top point guards in the league, Nash needs to be included in the conversation. Maybe not the best anymore, but the way he makes his team-mates better is hard to overlook.

Hard to argue with that.... Paul does deserve a lot fo credit... never would have picked NOH to be undefeated right now.

As for Nash... poor guy... as amazing as he is he can't overcome Hedo's overwhelming propensity to suck (and make his teams suck as a result).

I really hope that he gets dealt at the deadline.

Wade is shockingly bad tonight - and just as I write that he finally shows some good hustle.

Only to have Lebron miss two at the line.

Rondo absolutely shit on the Heat tonight - jam wise. Of course, Bosh watched from below even though he was in position to challenge. I guess he wanted a potential rebound instead of a foul.

Dampier must really be finished for the Heat to not pick him up. They have 3 problems:

1. Starting PG. Arroyo shouldnt be in any teams rotation let alone starting for what should be the best team in the NBA. Top PGs are just abusing them.

2. Starting C. Bosh clearly cant guard the other teams best bigman, Haslem is very good in their lineup, but they need a starting C to play 20 mpg to slow down the opposing teams best big and hide Bosh in the process until Haslem comes in. Again, going back to the point on Dampier and wondering why the hell they havent signed him yet. Pick up Diop or SOMEONE like that even if you have to receive longterm salary back. Who cares, you're going for it anyway.

3. Offensive system. I think it comes down to the fact that the 3 of them are too much alike in that they need Isos and dont know how to play off the ball that is hurting them as much as Spoelstras terrible offensive schemes. They should just do what the Bulls did back in the day and post up Wade and Lebron and spread the court instead of going pick and roll every play, it'll give them more space to work with and create more opprortunities. This goes back to a point I made a long time ago that Lebron should work on his post game because he'd be completely unguardable at that point. Post up smaller SF's, face up any ones close to his size, and he can see over any defence.
