Nets Thorn Ready To Shake Up Nets

Damn .... if the Nets didn't deal for Harris, Ford would of been a nice replacement for Kidd in NJ and we could of tried to pry RJ away from Thorn. Not going to likely happen now seeing how we don't really have any other pieces we could offer them.

"I look forward to the challenge of trying to get us back where we want to be," Thorn added.

It is believed that Richard Jefferson and Marcus Williams could be on Thorn's list of players he would like to move.

i think RJ and MW are more likely the list of players he can move. I'm assuming VC tops the list of players he'd like to move...

I think the Nets would laugh in our faces if we offered Thorn that deal. I think Thorn would be insulted if anything.

I don't think we can do anything. Our best assets are Rasho, AP, Garbo, Graham - who are all FA's at the end of next season. Unless BC tries to pry someone like a Redd from under Hammond's nose in Milwaukee. In the end, what I believe is that nothing will get done. We might marginally make the playoffs next season (just like this season), get a high draft pick, struggle the next, acquire another draft selection, have all the salary run out and start new. I think that's what BC's looking at.

It's funny because one of our former GM's should have been insulted at a trade offer that was made by Thorn - instead of agreeing to it.
