He'll be alright.

Toby 01-15-2014 06:12 AM

I have no faith in PER's.

Listen, JaVale McGee had a higher player efficiency rating then LaMarcus Aldridge last season.

Do you need that repeated?

woodchuck 01-15-2014 06:33 AM

haha. Well, he deserves +5 PER for that clip alone. :cookie:

What a disgrace

halphbreedballer 01-15-2014 10:36 AM

What if he's just playing bad so he can play in Toronto?:cookie:

DuCa00795 01-15-2014 10:37 AM

What sucks for Bennett is he got drafted to a team that wants to win now. Therefore, they do not want to play him for development purposes. It's a really bad situation overall.

Diamond Scorpion 01-15-2014 12:36 PM

He is definitely playing horrible, but it's not his fault that the Cavs picked him first.

Ball Don't Lie 01-15-2014 01:26 PM

He needs to bust his ass in the off season to get in great shape so he's able to use his ability off the dribble as a 6'8 big man, and he really needs to get up 1000+ shots a day to become consistent from mid range especially, and stop taking 3's altogether. But mainly, he needs to get in shape so he can play consistently, and be able to make quick moves off the dribble, and get to where he needs to go on offence. His weight is the biggest thing holding him back right now I think.

I really hope he turns it around.

Stonezz 01-15-2014 03:16 PM

Looked good against college competition but he is hot garbage right now. He looks like he doesnt know what the hell is going on when he's on the floor.

I don't know what the Cavs were thinking when they drafted him when they could have paired Kyrie with Oladipo or Giannis A.

Not hard to see why Lebron left that potato franchise.

Oh Giannis would have been a reach without a doubt.... but he would've fit the mold of what the Cavs needed (SG/SF) much more than Bennett did.... and he and Victor seem to be the best of that bunch.

I'll give that much, but the real problem is taking a 6'8" fat PF that high.... regardless of need. Of all the tweener types, the PF to SF tweener is the absolute worst.

Agreed. Both Oladipo and Giannis would have been much better picks.

Tend to agree. Takng a tweener fails way more than it succeeds.

Now everyone knows why MU was laughing when the Cavs selected AB.
