Funny quote from Ford, who is joining D-League team as a volunteer coach:

Quote:
"I'll look at it from another perspective," said Ford. "I'm really starting at the bottom. I'm not sure where I'm headed. But I'm headed in the right direction."

at the end of it all I like and respect TJ for trying as hard as he did to keep it going. Sucks to lose your dream.

well he did get to live out his dream for a decent number of years so it's not all doom and gloom.

his devote himself to his team fully...whether win or loose

unlike the JC who only care his own numbers

i still wish we can find TJ type of point guard who can either create shots for himself or assist teammate which we still haven't really got one after TJ

T.J. made over $43 Mill in his career and played the game he loved for many years.

I wish my dreams were shattered like that.

Yeah, you could look at it that way. But he's not been all that healthy over the last 6yrs and should be in the prime of his career right now. It's sad either way you look at it imo. Sure, he's rich and got to be an NBA player for 8 years but it sucks when you can't leave on your own terms.
