I thought he played well in his time in TO. Everyone here seems to say 'too bad he fell in love with his 15ft fadaways' Maybe it's just me, but I don't remember him taking too many bad shots. He really got jerked around by Sam, and didn't really get a chance to play under Jay.

How did he get jerked around by Sam? Sam loved the guy. I think he would have had a nice season last year had he not been injured. At the same time nobody should look at pre-season stats and come to some crazy conclusions. He's still a role player that needs to know and accept his role above all else.

hump was a good player, we could of really used him last year if it wasnt for his reoccuring knee problem.

If you think Sam jerked him around, I can only imagine what you think Jerry Sloan did to him?

But you're right beastie dan, he didn't take to many bad shots. He had a bad rep for no real reason by most internet fans.

Yep - it'll be interesting to see if Evans gets the same sort of rep or not. So much ends up being based on first impressions. Reggie might end up taking a ton more bad shots, but will keep getting free passes. Humps should have got more free passes.

Reggie is going to be an upgrade though, because he can just do more on defense, but Humps might get there someday.

In terms of getting jerked around by Sam, I thinking about his odd substitution patterns. However, I guess you could say that about any bench player during the Sam era.

Humps with 1 minute according to the boxscore, 4 according to the play-by-play. Zeros across the board except for 1 assist of all things. Still a quarter to go.
