Hell, remember when our own Jeremy Lin in Roko Ukic dominated Tony Parker for a small stretch. Yeah, Roko was fucking terrible and now he's out of the league.
you'll never know unless the dude gets consistent minutes.

I admired his performance, but I'm not saying he's the next big thing or whatever you're thinking. Let loose, I don't see why you're here all annoyed and stuff while I'm just saying he had a great game.

Really?

He looked pretty damn good in the tourney, as good as ANY of the guys that get hyped full time on every outlet there is.

I guess you didnt watch the youtube video...because really, it ain't like he got lucky and dropped 8 three's, the kid plays straight up fundamental ball, I so hoped they would grab this guy somehow whn he was just sitting there undrafted.

Whatever, people don't get it, it's all about show in the NBA, nobody cares that the teams that actually know how to play ball win the top prize.

Third string at best...wow claudius, then what the hell is Jered Bayliss???? A ball boy? Because Jeremy Lin knows the game, and when given the chance, executes it..what does our big time PG of the future do?

And calling him Gaines? Why? Is that some sort of clever comment that you guys hope sticks?

Recognize a decent ball player when you see it, and give the kid a bit of respect. Seems to me he keeps proving his detractors wrong. I am happy for Lin.

Why must people try so hard to shoot something down. If he's good he's good, what the fuck is it to you...are you offended that a feel good story might actually happen?

SJ you're just feeding into the mob right now.

You want to call me out on saying the guy is third-string at best then fine. I really could care less.

You know we all jump on jeff for being ridiculous, but he's not even annoying any more. I'm done for tonight. Enjoy the crazy.

hahaha no. Its just a bang on comparison for guys that get overhyped at the 2 guard position then fade away... what a joke

Dude, you're old enough to know how it went down for Minor..if you cant see the same thing here you're in denial

I actually agree with SJ. Lin can play. Not sure why you're being so hard on this kid right now. Everyone has to start somewhere. I'd be willing to bet dollars to doughnuts that at this time next season he'll be under contract to SOME team in the NBA at least in a backup role. He has excellent size and seems to have a good understanding of the game.

I'd bet on him without hesitation.

One thing NY should be concerned about is his size. Very small and thin even compared to other PG's in the league. Don't know if he can take a beating once a while(as in hard-nosed defence). D-Will did look like he was trying though.

thats all im saying, thanks. He played well, and his plays were smart, not "hot" or a guy on a roll.

Dude may end up being a keeper so why repress him already...aint like he's had three years and still sucks like...aww never mind.

Nobody here can or appears to want to repress him. But declaring him a sure bet on one game is ridiculous.

Considering how much D'Antoni likes PGs and how bad the Knicks have looked lately I'd be shocked if he doesn't get at least 20-25 min or so.

He's 6 foot 3 and 200 pounds. That is the size of a prototypical point guard for today's basketball.

Meh, forget about Lin. I want BC to go after Dragic with full force. He is amazing and can be our PG of the future. He does everything, he can pass, he can shoot, he has sick offensive moves to the basket, he's athletic and can defend (will only get better under Casey).
