your reasoning doesn't fly with me.

After 4 games, alright fair enough. Albeit with below average talented teammates, he's been dropping 28/8 the past 4 leading this team to 4 wins. It's not like it's against terrible teams neither.

The part about him being not electrifying is a joke. Really? that's all that matters to you?

You clearly don't see that he can ball.

not wat im trying to say, linsanity doesn't define lin he's solid he doesn't make you drop your jaw with his play, plus its obviously biting VC's nickname. Not discrediting him but come on linsanity? get out of here with that lol he needs a new nickname.

And ny fans are so pathetic already calling him a legend wtf?

I see what you're saying, and I don't think that there's much of a correlation between the two nicknames other than the fact that they have the same suffixes.

come on, obviously he's no legend but it's part of the hype. Hop on and enjoy the ride homey.

I feel like this is going to be a big story, but I don't know if he can keep it up.. maybe just a flash in the pan, and player to go down in the folklore of the NBA. Time will tell.

I'll tell you one thing, I heard him talk the other night, yesch. Is it just me, or do people who aren't black in the NBA, start sounding like they want to be. Jason Williams, I'm looking at you..

He's raised in America so he's adapted that culture. It's not that he "wants to be black".

As for his game, this is no flash in the pan. This is his game. He's not going out and making ridiculous shots that aren't in his repetoire. This is all within his skill set and he can only improve with such basketball smarts. The only thing is that right now he's the number 1 option on the team. His numbers surely will go down when Amare and Melo are back, but I'll say he's definitely an effective player given the trust of his teammates and the opportunities. He has nothing to lose right now; no short leash and is making the most out of it. It's amazing how easier it is on players and how they can feel so much more confident given chances.

I actually wish Melo and Amare wouldn't come back for a few more games. Not only is he putting up the beast numbers but they are undefeated...

That's true, even those immersed in a culture absorb it. How much more if you grow up in it? Kleiza's english is very "urban". And Yao, playing in Houston had a southern twang to his english.

But just aside, I thought Lin's english was pretty every day english in North America,

It's incredible what one guy can do for you! There is no talent on that team without Melo and Amare, but chemistry is of the chart! We need a glue guy like that, who gonna make everybody else wanna play hard!

The whole Linsanity thing reeks of an unknown baseball hitter or pitcher going through the league the first time and killing it. Then the coaches get to watch the film and find his weakness and bring him back to Earth.

If he is still leading the Knicks in April and they continue to do well, I'll become a believer. However, it is entertaining to watch him now. He is clearly enjoying his time in the spotlight.

And it will be interesting to see what happens when Amare and BallHogMelo return. Could kill all their momentum.
