Jefferson at #3 is brutal... has that guy ever been on a winner? He certainly didn't help Utah that much.

I think Bynum if you can get 65+ games out of him is number two. Isn't the other Lopez (hairy) better then Brooke?

He was drafted with more upside as viewed by some scouts, but Brooke is still better though he's definitely regressed from his breakout rookie campaign.

The problem with Bynum is that you can't get 65 games from him. lol

I think Bogut deserves more respect, but I guess that arm injury really held him back last year. I see Bogut as a top 5 C.

Horford and Jefferson are really PFs and Nene arguably as well. Impact on the game is the biggest attribute I`d look at in determining the rank for center, and thus I think if you are going to include Jefferson in this list, he should be 8th.

I think Pau should be on the list. He had to have at least 25 starts at the five. And Odom as a six man rotates to the 4, leaving Pau to play minutes at the 5 in every game rotation.

Nice call, seems weird that they didn't include him. Most have short listed by stats.

In terms of impact on games, this list is a joke. Until Bargnani can do more while on the floor than he does while on the bench, in terms of overall differential, he doesn't belong on any top ten list.

Tyson Chandler, Kendrick Perkins, Brendan Haywood, Tim Duncan and Mehmet Okur all deserve to be ahead of the last two guys on this list, by a landslide. One thing that is clear is that there is no real sole C designation that can hold up to provide a list that makes any sense.

My list(when healthy...guys who are unquestionably centers) would be:

Howard
Bynum
M Gasol
Bogut
Noah
Nene(by arguably I didnt mean by me, because IMO he plays like a center, hes just short)
Chandler
Lopez
Gortat
Cousins

I'd say the drop-off after Chandler is pretty severe.

I still say Lopez will be more like his first two season than last season when it comes to his rebounding. I think he'll be a pretty consistent 20/8/1.5 Center in his career.
