Glad to see nobody overpaid. At around 9/per it's almost a little disappointing we didn't inquire and try to to move Fields to make space; he would've been a real starting calibre small forward who could have some ball handling duties. Not to mention we really could have focused playing small ball which is what we're suited to with our roster anyways.

He got $44/5 from the Pacers - so he's only making $200k more a year, and he's got two years less on his deal. Shit's going down in Indy.

He is not a small forward, dude is 6'5'' on a good day, he's a combo guard. He can't guard big sf's of nba

Lance can guard certain small forwards as he's extremely strong. He actually did a decent job on Lebron when he was matched up with him in the Conference Finals.

Lance will be a great fit on CHA, as another scoring option with Kemba and Al. Their awful offence should improve this season, and a Lance/MKG duo on the wings is also very good defensively and can help mask how bad Al is at times on defence, as they should be able to keep most guys infront of them, plus Clifford has a great defensive system in place that allows Al to say back on pick and rolls, limiting blowby opportunities. All in all a great fit for CHA at a really good price.

On a side note, this move is good for Toronto, as I believe we've now surpassed Indiana, and we are currently the 3rd best team in the East. We may not win a game vs CHA all year, but we should be the 3rd best team if healthy.

he can guard 3's occasionally, but not on the regular basis through out the season, there would be too much grind. It's too physically demanding to play out of your position for a long time. It's kinda like asking James Johnson to be our starting center

Yeah Charlotte is now even worse of a matchup for us with those two cats on the wings.

Overall I think the Raps are more well rounded with depth off the bench and such but that Bobcat starting 5 will be TOUGH to match up..... Walker /Stevenson /MKG /Vonleh /Jefferson with Henderson off the bench.

Vonleh won't start on day 1, and Henderson is going to be traded. Their roster still needs a few tweaks, but they're not a good matchup for us.

Freaking CHA...they got marvin williams, brian roberts, bismack as well off the bench...such a nightmare match up for us.

What's the over/under on Lance punching one of his new teammates? (days/weeks/months)

Charlotte still has literally nobody to spread the floor, don't day Marvin Williams. Great pickup though.
